I understand the point you are making (playing devil's advocate here) but if she couldn't watch him a BTW, why would playing for the Canes suddenly allow her to watch him play? I would imagine BTW games are even closer than UM game to home.

Yes of course, but the option would be there if she can make it possible. Plus playing on weekends as opposed to Fridays and during the week makes it easier for your average worker to attend games.

This is gonna hurt us with him... the whole state of alabama will be down and Saban is going want him on the sideline right in his back pocket...

I can see Saban going to the NFL. There's going to be a ton of guys canned and teams needing replacements.

High school games are on Fridays...she could only watch him play in the state championship game because it was on a Saturday.

Yeah, anything can happen but this kid is all cane - I've never doubted he'd be a cane at the end of the day

U are overplaying the whole Alabama will be here and in his ear the whole week thing. It doesn't work like that. Dead periods and contact rules are all in effect. He can't be on the sideline or a guest of Bama for the game.
U are over playing that whole angle.
Cane and I never thought otherwise. Could be wrong, but, I've never wavered.

His mom is a Bus Driver I believe and she has 5 kids so she is working OT big time to handle her business. This is another reason I think he stays home, his brother is currently at FAMU an Thomas has gone up there several times to visit but I am sure in the long run that won't be do able for the Family. And his brother will graduate soon leaving him alone far away from his family, and I am sure that plays on him also. So if you have a chance to stay close to home but still feel like your away at school you take it. Not to mention Ice Harris has modeled his program after the structure he found at UM when he was on the staff, and familiarity goes along with creating stability for these kids so Thomas knows he can handle the rigors of UM life.

Pretty sure she didn't go watch him because she didn't want him playing football and was basically scared to watch...for fear of injury or something.

If you mean me, I was just pointing out he was visiting right after they are winning another NC. Pocketbooks will be wide open.

Ain't enough, just pointing out Bama seems to be left out of the equation since everyone is hung up on the Noles.
