It sucks that it went down like this, but if Cam had played the whole game, we might have went into the season next year with him at QB. I honestly thought the staft should have alternated qbs after halftime, but do that and Emory only hands off and coaches probably stay delusional that Emory can be the guy heading into the offseson.

That last drive was brutal.

The only other takeaway is that the coaches can’t see whatever good that Emory does in practice was against our defense. We’ve seen how bad our #1s are. Our 2nd team and scout team are likely miles behind that. So our coaches took what they saw at face value. That’s scary when it comes to future evals.

Dawson needs to find us a QB for next season…Mario is the head coach but this one is on Dawson imo…You are the OC so get us a QB…

Our Portal QB is about to be a Top 5 pick. Our HS QB averaged 1.9 yards per pass.

Yes, the Portal is the way to go. The evidence is overwhelming.
Seems that Mario has to realize that since the first portal window is over and many good options already came and passed.

He’s playing with the fire, again.

Anyone defending the meathead and saying that he just wanted to see what Emory could do in the 2nd half is clueless and blind.

Emory looked mid to pedestrian in the 3 starts that he got last season. It takes him forever to process what he’s seeing and the routes that are being run by our WR’s. Nice kid that should not be at Miami, and is at best a low tier FCS player.

Excusing the inexcusable by saying that Wario and Dawson just wanted to see what they had in Emory is intellectually dishonest and asinine. There’s a reason why they went all out after Mateer, and that reason is Emory. Yesterday they only let him throw the ball downfield when they had no other choice at the end of the game when we needed a miracle.

Our HC keeps on proving that he is clueless when it matters the most, and that’s on gameday.
