Imagine riding through a season thinking he’s a backup lol. Boy how does one evaluate at our practices ?
He doesn’t have a rocket arm but his touch and anticipation reminds me of Danny Wuerfel. I think it’s pretty obvious who’s the better backup and who’d play if a catastrophe happened.
👀

Me thinks this second half was a necessary evil though. It ended all delusions that anyone had of Emory being an option. Just like Jacurri Brown's play for UCF this year ended the convo on who should've been QB2 @UM. Can we ALL now agree that they're both CHEEKS and should never play QB here??

Let's all just have a good group cry and then put this chapter of UM football behind us 😭

I mean it’s not hard to. Throwing to nfl talented WRs vs our G5 secondary probably made it easy for him

We should have ran the ball every play with Emory in. I’m not kidding. When we got the last stop, it should have been 3 hand offs instead of two passes. All runs in the red zone. Watching again and this dude legit sucks. He looks like he’s running on old school dial up internet where it disconnects if your momma picks up the phone

Y’all fell for all the lies…

Lmao Something GIF

I’d watch their actions. They pursued Mateer hard.
Great, but why just Mateer? Mendoza, Moss, Mensah all significant upgrades over the horrible play we saw from Emory today. Based on their actions so far, seems they think Mateer was the only significant upgrade available over Emory so far in the portal, which is clearly not the case.
