That's when they were doing punt returns using DL. Pretty funny to watch the video. LuRob was the winner

He wasn't all that far off from a g last year and from all reports is killing it in camp so far. Kid does everything well (including down field blocking) and can fly. He led the team in receptions and yards, it's unfortunate some people only remember the two drops.

good deep threat but scared to cross that middle... waters and coley will end up starting by the end of the year...

Dorsett is a stud receiver. I expect him to have a good year and go pro. Excellent speed and route-running ability.

Dorsett is easily the most underrated player on this roster. As a true Sophomore he went for over 850 yards, that's incredible. He was a BABY last year. Honestly, the people who hate on Dorsett are probably the same people who say The Heat are better without Dwyane Wade. In other words...idiots.

Most of our fans seem to only remember the Notre Dame game. What about the NCState game when he blew past a defense solely focused on not giving up anything deep?

He had a really good year for us in his 1st year playing.
Like everyone on our team, it looks like is much better this year, which is going to make him deadly to opposing defenses.

I'm expecting a huge year from him. He got his feet wet for the first time last year and had to do it on a bunch of big stages. The moments were a little too big for him on occasion and he choked. But the good thing is that he didn't let it beat him.

He can take the top off of any defense in college football. You need guys like that to open up the underneath stuff for Scott and the seams for the British Sleuth and the other TEs. He also prevents the safeties from getting too fresh in the running game because they don't want him getting behind them.

As you can see, a guy like this is invaluable even when he doesn't get it thrown his way.

Imo Dorsett broke out last year.... he was only 158 yards away from having a 1000 yard season.

Now will he take it to another level this year??.... yep.

I like how he rebounded after the rock-bottom performance against Notre Dame. He kept his head up and finished the season strong (last 3 games):

22 catches 297 yards 1 TD

his route running is suspect... waters is the best route runner/hands guy on the team with coley coming in second..

The thing that would make him an absolute apocalypse for opposing defenses - shiftiness - is something which seems hard to 'work on.' It's not the same as Hank going to work on his hands. I feel like you have that, or you don't. Coley: he has it. PD hasn't shown it yet.

Luckily, in this offense, we don't need him to do everrrrthang. Burning fools deep is plenty. Catching the shorter stuff and taking what's there? Great. We've got Duke, Waters, Lewis, Scott, and newboy Coley for shredding the defense after the catch.

The potential with this offense is just filthy. If, somehow, PD has developed some wiggle? ...

Smh.

You think somebody gets as open as often as Dorsett without being a good route runner? Dorsett has his faults, but his route running is pretty sharp.

I think this staff does a great job of making sure all of our receivers can run very good routes. Your route running is something that improves as you get older, guys in the NFL still work on their route tree so it's not like anybody in college is perfect when it comes to that.

From the Notre Dame drops to the ball he took on the face mask vs UNC, he was in a bit of a funk. But as Able pointed out, he finished strong. I think he has a very good year. I just hope he's replaced on punt return. He's like Travis Benjamin, a fast guy, who doesn't seem to have all that much wiggle

He's definitely more of a kick returner then a punt returner b/c of his lack of shiftiness.... i think he can be a difference maker as a kick returner b/c of his straight line speed.
