Exactly.
Nothing like Will Wade taking the NC State job before coaching his final 2 games at McNeese State.
Or even Niko Medved losing the Maryland on Sunday but taking the Minnesota job on Monday.
Then they wonder why kids act the way they do!

Not a x's and o's guy in bball but if I'm building a team/culture of defense with some size this guy would be a top priority.

He'd also be a 6th year guy so he is a grown man. Only negative based on stats. His range is about 3ft. No 3's and his FT percentage make Yinka Dare(RIP) blush. Not a starter...but a 6th/7th man energy guy. He isnt going to the NBA, he is a stud. But in a physical game for 20-25 minutes this guy will probably punish you.

With the "collectives" marginalized and the schools now directly paying the players, HS recruiting except for the top few is basically reduced sussbstantially. JuCos and Portal players will make up the GREAT majority of the recruits.

For Championship-competitive hoops, you need at least $7 million as your budget, and that'll be going up each year. Tension between programs for dollars is gonna get ugly. See that already with Locksley vs Willard at Maryland.

Definitely a new world out there.

Except for the players with their "agents" conducting bidding wars (Coaches getting calls like "we've got a $1.4 Million offer in hand, can you go $1.6?), don't think anyone is really happy with this.
