25-26 Transfers

I read your statement, I just didn't fully agree with it.

First, the starting backcourt usually consists of two players (guards) and the starting backcourt usually consists of three players (center and forwards)...

Second, I also do not believe that we should rest at "one starting center and one starting forward".

Finally, I'm not sure that both of those guys are going to be the starters, and I hope we don't just pursue "bench players" beyond those 2 and that we try to sign someone even better than Udeh.
Give me that white kid Brennan from GCU, 6'10, average a double/double this season, he wants to be in Miami, would give us some frontcourt depth

Not sure what system coach Jai will run...but good chance that it's a 3 guard and 2 bigs.hoping for some good shooting. These two and the Pitt guard doesn't do it.

I understand, and we may run this at times, but we also have to be prepared for bigger teams (like Duke) that run three frontcourt players.

The broader point is that I don't want us to recruit "five starters and 10 backups".

RJ Luiz is officially in the transfer portal and not testing the NBA waters.
I think Luiz and Udeh are the next two commits to Miami under Coach Jai Lucas.

Kinda odd big ten comment with only one big ten team listed.

Pete said not to get our hopes up about RJ.

Another former Andrew Moran player — junior and senior years were at Columbus before going to prep school.

Was a junior when transfer portal player Scotty Middleton was a freshman. Their time at Columbus didn’t overlap but I am sure he is familiar with the Richardson brothers who are Michigan state legacies. Jase will have a NBA decision to make soon.

Jordan Gainey transitioned well from USC Upstate to Tennessee. I don’t see any recent news regarding Mister Dean but he’d be a nice contributor if we can get him.
Someone asked about Dean in a recent podcast and Ariz made it sound like we lost momentum in his recruitment. Unsure the reason though.
