25-26 Transfers

This is the source who is not trustworthy right?

Trilly is tho, so if he said that in his pod, much more valid.

How many ppl would be happy with this roster (few more pieces missing)

PG: Chase Forte, Trey Green
SG: Jahlil Bethea, Dante Allen
SF: RJ Luis, Marki Strickland
PF: Malik Reneau
C: Noah Williamson

LOL @ coaching issues. Reinhardt doesn't know anything.

Trilly and Zach are the sources that are plugged in...

With that said, everyone wishes RJ the best of luck with his future endeavors. The rumors and speculation from some Miamians about him being of low character, sketchy, or whatever, have proven to be false. He's a great young man that handles himself well.

I hope he gets paid... All the best to him...

And before anyone gets on here asking if we've got any shot at bringing RJ Luis (currently at St. John's & former Columbus player) back home, let me be the first to say NOT HAPPENING!
I said this 4 weeks ago. And still don't think it's happening. RJ will put his name in the draft and if he gets good feedback, he'll go pro. If not, he'll transfer but highly doubt it will be to Miami. A lot of baggage here (not necessarily RJ"s doing) and Moran saw it up close when RJ was at Columbus.

Wasn't Pitino's issue with him was that he stopped playing defense/looking for assists if his offensive game was off. With Pitino, everyone is expected to play tough defense.

I'd take the guy in a heartbeat, just not at the expense of the overall budget to pay multiple players.

Any reason? Just curious because we have 0 players, he’s from Miami, and we supposedly will have a top 12-15 NIL budget.
All of that can be true and he still might not be a fit as crazy as it sounds in terms of Jai’s plans for building the roster.

If he returns and goes to another school, I’d imagine it’s to a ready-made contender.

But either way I think he goes pro/returns to St. John’s

Juice isn't worth the squeeze with Luis in Pitino's eyes. Phenomenal player, unforgettable season, all the accolades one can desire. But when the lights shined brightest, he faded. Not only that, but he deviated from the game plan. Remember when Zuby shook the life out of him? He wasn't himself. Not sure why, and don't want to speculate on it much, because he's been all class in Queens.

For all I know, Rick knew he had a foot out the door my hunch). Rick wasted absolutely no time in adding Joson Sanon, and setting up an OV for B Hop, who is currently on campus for an OV.

Truth is there is no time to **** around and wait for RJ to get a grade and decide where he wants to play next year. Rick wanted no part of that scene. Parting was "mutual," lol. Extrapolate from that what you will.

Johnny insiders are suggesting that RJ's camp is asking anywhere from 2 million - 3.5 million. Some think more. Hopefully he gets it. No hard feelings from the Johnnies. We all want him back, but know this is now the game.

Sanon from ASU is a good player. Nice upside.

Luis, like the rest of the SJU perimeter players was just average, even a bit below, when it came to 3 point shooting. He only hit 33.6%, nothing to write home about.

Yeah, I'm excited about him. His quotes were very encouraging. Says he wants to be coached hard and learn the game. Hurley said he was an amazing guard, perhaps the best he has coached.

RJ needs another year to work on his three point shot, free throw shooting, and defense. He improves in those areas, and he may very well get drafted.

No idea how involved Lucas was in his recruitment, but if I remember right a lot of people expected him to wind up at Duke. Super high upside, soccer player that has only been on the court for a few years.

How can a player who "needs work" on those areas of his game be POY in a tough league like the Big East? Something is wrong with that picture.

As for Bobby Hurley, how does he keep his job at ASU? He hasn't really succeeded at all and has been there for 10+ seasons now.
