My bad, my question was about timing for final roster. Will UM put out the final roster soon?

All good, I think the final roster will take a while to be posted. They left my name on the roster for weeks after I stepped away.

Saw JT Caruso ended up at UConn. JT is the same pitcher he was as a Soph in high school.

Most kids dont know how to push to the next level or what it takes. Some of that is the player and once on a campus its part player/part coaching

Ill be interested to see how he develops. Probably not to much this year but Uconn can really develop with less. I thought he had potential with his arm clot and frame. We got nothing out of him. Who's fault....lets follow up in 2 years.

I think these cuts are about changing the locker room, I have heard negative things about Vargas and Olivera from two different people, about them not taking stuff seriously. Elijah Hurt batted .090 his senior year of HS so that cut is not surprising. I think cutting Edgardo over Gaby means three things
1. Gaby is on no scholarship and Eddy was taking up a good number of scholarship so its easier to cut him
2. Eddy was a bad locker room guy
3. Coaches love Eddy and told him it would be best for his career to find a place to play this season.

Only really surprising one is Naturman just because of his arm slot. I thought he would make it over Lofgren or Dorn.

I guess we can't say J.D. didn't shake things up roster-wise. Let's see if this staff can develop them and mold the pieces into a competitive product on the field.

At a minimum, you'd think these players will be motivated and working their ***** off for PT.

I wouldn't say so, great kid who always had his head down working. Just struggled in the scrimmages and in a win-now mode the staff couldn't wait on his development.
