Biased aside; u really think it’s easier to play P every 5 games and hit every 9 players than playing a physically demanding, and often time detrimental position all game both offensively & defensively?

Like what r we talking about here; of course what Hunter is doing harder.
Are we talking about endurance? Then yes it’s harder to do what Hunter is doing. It’s also harder to win an iron man.

Or are we talking about skill? Because what Ohtani does is significantly more difficult. There’s been a bunch of two way players in the NFl over the years. Nobody in modern baseball has come close to what Ohtani does. You have to go back 100 years. Playing WR and DB requires a very similar skill set. Being an elite pitcher in baseball is completely different from being an elite hitter.

I also need to know if we are taking quality into consideration in this question. Is Hunter just doing it in the NFL the bar? Because what makes Ohtani so incredible is he is legitimately the best hitter in baseball and a top 5 pitcher. MVP quality offense and Cy Young quality pitching. So Hunter would have to be Ja’Marr Chase at WR and a pro bowl Corner at the same time for it to track…

I posted it takes incredible skill to play baseball.

I don’t think it is. Weak at qb, wr, LB, and DB
Last year was an anomaly at QB, similar to 2020.

I think this QB class lacks the elite talent other years had but I think will end up being better than 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2019. You’ll get guys that probably hang around this league a lot longer than expected and become contributors.

Which is kind of the theme in general about this class. I think it lacks the overall elite talent other years had but has insane depth at some positions and solid contributors you can snag real late at others.

The hit rate on guys that go in the 3rd or 4th is probably going to be a lot higher than normal is my prediction.

Ward is the only sure bet at QB. If Titans don’t want him, it’s obvious half a dozen others will trade up to get him. Quality QBs are the NFL’s rarest and most precious resource.
