2023 NFL Combine & Miami Pro Day

Emmanuel Forbes if he’s still there, but given how well he ran today, he definitely probably moved up a few spots.

If Clark Phillips III or Cam Smith is there either one would be great value at that spot.

But quite a few teams are in need of a good CB & there will be a rash of them getting picked in the top 20, so yall might have to move up to get one if yall are hellbent on getting one in the 1st. Although, there may be other pressing needs to address.
In your opinion what are those more pressing needs?

JSN's combine profile is one of the biggest jokes I have ever read.

"Smith-Njigba is a possession slot receiver who lacks the shake to separate underneath and the speed to run past defenses."

"Smith-Njigba will need to fine-tune his route running to give himself his best chance to succeed at the next level."

Weaknesses: Lacks suddenness for seperation in and out of breaks.

They are doing the same f-ing mistake after Justin Jefferson:

"Needs more attention to detail with his routes"

"Unable to run away and separate from tight man"

"Will take time adjusting to press looks as a pro"

"Separation talent just average outside"

I pray that JSN goes to New England at 14...

What the NFL combine constantly reminds me is we’re not in the same stratosphere in size, speed, & athleticism.

UGA had two Defensive players this draft alone running 4.3-4’s; they had an OLmen running sub 5.0. Michigan had a CB running a 4.26. Bama have a running back running sub 4.4.

Seeing Mallory at 6’4 239 running a 4.54, while all these other TE’s were 6’5+ at 260+ running 4.6’s, I’m just like ****. Seeing Tyrique as “our big CB” at 6’0 198lbs running a 4.45-5, & UGA has a big CB at 6’1 207 running a 4.36 or Christian Gonzalez at 6’1 198 running a 4.38, I mean….

We need those caliber of athletes again. For God sake, it was literally called Miami speed once upon a time. We desperately need that again.
Get better athletes and…Better S&C, we say development alot that department plays a huge part in that and what we end up seeing on the field and then in the combine/pro day

They are crazy I don't care what they said yesterday he has the best body control and route running and I think he'll be the best of those recent Ohio St receivers

Nah im just not wasting my time lol i said watch film u posted stats and articles, we’re speaking two different languages

No, besides facts and stats (hysterical you keep trying to dismiss them - those are called results) I literally posted "film" of him failing to throw accurate passes against air at the combine in drills he's been practicing all day and every day to prepare. Against air. Simple outs and such. And the game film shows 1000x more of that.

We're speaking the exact same language, you just don't like what's being said, homie.

AR played QB in 32 games in high school, throwing for over 4600 yards for a .532 completion percentage. He had 37 TD's and 19 INT's.

AR played QB in 22 games in college, throwing for over 3100 yards for a .547 completion percentage. He had 24 TD's and 15 INT's.

Almost mirror type production, low completion percentage and always a sub 2-1 TD/INT ratio.

He's hardly inexperienced. He's had plenty of opportunities to play and progress, including a couple of years being coached and tutored by Dan Mullen, the supposed QB whisperer, and he hasn't progressed much at all, he's still an inaccurate interception machine. This narrative that he's "raw" because he hasn't played much is ridiculous. It's an excuse. He's always been a QB, he's played plenty, and spent three years getting SEC coaching.

This just might be who he is. And incredible athlete with a big arm, who just isn't that good at the rest of what it takes to play QB.

Josh Allen changed everything because that proved an athletic freak with accuracy issues can (with great coaching) become an elite NFL QB.

The problem is Josh should be an exception to a long line of busts in that logic, but NFL executives have massive egos and think they can be the coach to "unlock" that talent. Couple that with not wanting to be the team to miss on the possible next Josh Allen, and I expect AR to go top 10.

Again, if Garrett and Olave can post 1000yd rookie seasons, lulz at they reports. I thought Olave for sure was a bust and Garrett was gonna take a minute to adjust to the physicality of NFL corners. I do like Garrett just think JSN is better albeit not nearly a fast.

Facts!

It doesn’t help when the rest of the class is just okay as well. Stroud is a top tier prospect but not generational. I think Bryce has All Pro skills but he makes is than Kyler Murray. Levis is just not 1st round material. When you look at it that way, and the fact QB is the lottery ticket postion, this kid is just not looking so bad. Just take the fact that he is a Gator out of it for a second.

Richardson is worth a gamble, IMHO. Definitely not with a top 5 pick, probably not a top 10 but after that why not? Take Detroit, they have 2 picks in the first, why not use 18 on him if he is there? The risk reward has a giant spread but that reward is enticing.

I'm not trying to be a **** here, but is there a correlation between those who think Richardson will do well in the NFL with those who think Brown will all of a sudden become a good passer here. I'd take Richardson as an athlete and rather high, but as a QB, not a chance.

i lulz at these reports every draft season, its so comical at times

Yea because all u are talking about is his accuracy, of course he’s not consistent there and thats a problem but I literally said he’s a year or 2 away lol but posting combine clips, stats from highschool and years where he barely played as points then basically admitting your hate for the gators coulds your judgement just tells me this convo is pointless.

He has shown he knows where to go with the ball, good pre snap recognition, great pocket movement, good eyes in his processing etc..its just casual talk to post stats, articles and clips of a player lol but again we’re speaking two different languages, you have your viewpoint and i have mine

If people watched allen in college theyd see he did the little things well to be a good qb. People just look at the end result of plays, both him and AR showed signs of they know what they’re doing but there mechanics are just ***ed so there accuracy is thrown off.

I think where teams will *** up with the allen stuff is waiting to long to move on from a failed project, like they think by year 3 or 4 in the nfl that a qb will become someone different and thats just very rare
