One of the biggest issues with NIL is that there is NO NCAA national NIL standard outside of "NIL can't be used as a recruiting tool" (LOL). Every state has it's own specific rules regarding university involvement / awareness of NIL, and most DO permit some sort of school involvement (not funding but awareness and recommending recruits to 'sponsors').

I said nothing but facts. 5-7 team. He looked like **** even in games where he was healthy before he got injured. Whomever u wanna blame. Again i do not care about boi. He can leave or stay, he aint Tom Brady. All am saying about that.

Agreed. And I dont want to dog a kid who hasn't played in a game for UM yet, but the Thomas Gores aren't going to do what we need. Farmer will.

We should offer fsu a pack of french ticklers for Farmer and bring Jackson back

He can announce his intentions prior to entering the Portal or after entering the Portal. It doesn’t matter when he makes his IG or Twitter post in terms of being able to transfer and visit other schools. The University has 48 hours to place his name in the Portal (for the public to see) after receiving an official request by the student-athlete. Schools will use that 48 hours to try and change the player’s mind before it becomes official.

Going public before the school makes it official puts pressure on all sides. It can work in your favor (as a player or school) but it depends on your strategy.

I thought they already received the official request and we’re trying to negotiate him staying within that 48-hour window?
