He supposedly got tired of renegotiating his NIL and finally after his 3rd time going to fSU for more money, they said go kick rocks.
I was going to laugh when you said Reddit but ****, stuff does come from there. The Will Levis 1st overall rumors started there lol, and now it’s gone from +4000 to +400 in less than 12 hours.

Also fits in line with the Travis smoke. Guess we’ll see what the market prices Farmer at.

This kid was a backup and he wants a pay raise? Lol that’s crazy
I read he was an honorable mention freshman all american. You have to take care of those guys. Instead they opted to go portal in a few vets and pay them. Fiske was probably worth it - not sure that I can say the same about Darrell Jackson.

However, I've also heard he's already asked to renegotiate 2-3 times. They did it the first time or even twice. If that's the case I'm probably steering clear. At the same time, his next school has all the leverage because he's in draft eligible years and won't have credits to leave as a grad transfer (until at the earliest post-spring 2024) so he can't leave unless he wants to sit a year.

Was it an FSU thread? I’m just curious because the way you stated it, it sounds somewhat credible. If you have a moment, if you have a link, that would be great.
I was told the same today. Said the kid is only moving for NIL. He said Miami makes sense but watch USC, Auburn, and Tennessee. Georgia is also one that might make a play for him once they vet him.

He might not get what he wants because of the red flags.

Yeah, I guess he’s not officially in the portal yet, which possibly (disirregardless of my prior post) means there hasn’t been much prior contact.

I just have a bias to assume in most of these cases, there’s significant back-channeling so that it’s almost a fait accompli where the player is going, prior to the portal announcement.
+1 fait accompli

He is this year, but I think they are selling him short because they make it seem like he is ONLY a depth contributor.

That is like us saying in 2019 that Rosseau was only a depth piece. While true because he was a RS Freshman and was behind much older guys such as Garvin, , trevon hill and Patchan, every coach at UM knew he was growing into a starter.

They are making it appear as if he is a depth piece like Holley was a depth piece for us. A guy who is truly depth and likely never grows into a starter.
Not Rousseau but an eventual starter there yea.

Him and Darrell Jackson are 1 in the same....close friends. So Jackson coming up there was to play with him and a nil grab...They likely seen the bread Verse got to stay and know its money in the kitty for them...forcing the issue on Norvell

Just in general, other than the money, what red flags are we talking about, if you can say.
