2017 RB Markenzy Pierre had 2600yds & 30TD's yet no UM love?

THE LAROCHE KID NEEDS TO BE ON OUR SPECIAL TEAMS KR PR

HE'D BE DEADLY ON RETURNS. AND IF YOU HAVE 30+ SPOTS YOU CAN FILL AND APPARENTLY ONLY A HANDFUL OF UM CALIBER PLAYERS WILLING TO COME HERE IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA TO SIGN A GUY WHO CAN CHANGE GAMES ON RETURNS.

I AGREE. THAT GUY COULD BE REALLY YUGE IN THE RETURN AND FIELD POSITION GAME. ARE ANY OF OUR COACHES FOLLOWING HIM ON TWITTER?

Lol ok I'm gonna admit I totally laughed in real life when I read this.

Don't just say something for the sake of seeing
Saying it does caps really bother you guys that much?

With Miami needing an additional running back for 2017 it is time for coach Brown to give Markenzy Pierre a call.

Red team DBs playing two hand touch? 3 or 4 times they just touched him vs attempting a tackle. LOL

He isn't a bad option but with one day left until the dead period this ship has likely sailed to Cuse.

If I was a coach I would look at this board for recruiting . Always putting out names who really has a lot of potential .

Who cares if it was against bad competition, you can say the same thing about a lot of these ESPN 300 guys.

****, Travis Henry ran for 4,087 yds. & 42 TDs as a Sr. against bad competition, Tennessee didn't hold it against em'...and He still holds UT records for career rushing yardage, carries, and 100 yard performances.

You don't put up Pierre's #s if you're a scrub.

If you're good, you're good.

Actually looks kind of similar to Mike James.

Funny thing is he is coached by Mike James old high school coach Cory Johns, who also coached Karlos Williams who went to FSU.

Syracuse-bound Markenzy Pierre deserving of far more attention - Orlando Sentinel

....For those who question his abilities, the film doesn’t lie. He’s a strong, tough runner who has second-level speed to create separation. Those who questioned his speed last year could no longer do so after this summer, when he worked his 40-yard-dash times down in to the consistent 4.5-second range.

“I just don’t know what it is and I’m trying to find out. I’m trying to work hard for him because he deserves it,” said Johns, who knows a thing or two about talented running backs having coached a couple when he was at Davenport Ridge in Karlos Williams (FSU/Buffalo Bills), and Mike James (UM/Tampa Bay Bucs).

“Karlos was more of a freak athlete, almost 6-3, 230-pounds and a sub-4.4 40 guy who was recruited mostly as a safety,” Johns said. “Markenzy is a true running back. He understands the blocking scheme, what we’re trying to get done … he knows when to hug the double-team tight, when to bounce it.

“He knows when it’s time to make something happen or when it’s time to put his head down and get three or four yards and be happy with that. He’s just a really good power back.”....

Watch Babers make a balla out of another South Florida afterthought.

He is from Central Florida, but still within the state of Miami. Also what is more astonishing is that Pierre is a 2 time 7A all state selection coming from a terrible team where he ran into 8 man fronts all game for the last two years an still put up crazy numbers.

The team in the first video was absolutely terrible. I don't see anything special with the kid other than numbers against what looks like bad competition.

i agree bad compi, if this guy was that good trust me no sleeper these days

As I outlined earlier in this thread he plays good competition in central Florida, played the distinct champs and runner ups. Hence why he is a 2 time all state 7A first time selection. He is under the radar because he only went to i camp and he played on a average team.

Go Canes
