2017 RB Markenzy Pierre had 2600yds & 30TD's yet no UM love?

richt has a good track record of knowing rb talent.

That was when he had the UGA bag man helping him out. Now I am saying Coach Richt doesn't have an eye for talent, I am just saying he is seeing now hard it is land the Top talent that doesn't have a tie to Miami. As you can see that kids come here for the love of the program, lets not be confused where as at UGA there was a little extra $$ugar in the $weet.

McFarland missed his SR year and was jerked around by Bama an Miami is hoping with bated breath for sloppy seconds in landing him. Keep in McFarland still has not committed to anywhere he could pick UMD in the end, deciding to stay home. As for Burns he has been flirting with Notre Dame for the longest time, but Peter said he is hearing Burns is backed off of that recently so we will see what happens. The sad thing is there was no #3 lined up to pressure either one of these two to stop the recruiting shenanigans and jump on aboard 100%.

So tell me then who is the back up plan at RB for 2017, because we could be left with none?

Go Canes

he got knoshown moreno who florida and urban meyer wanted bad and there was no bag man involved. thats a pretty good back.

If we're gonna recruit an "under the radar" Running Back then it needs to be Matt Laroche. Kid is unreal. I watched him shred Braden River for over 280 yards rushing last week. He has ridiculous foot work and balance. He's undersized at about 5'10" 170 but he's a kid that can be effective around 190lbs. He's exactly the type of RB you want if we're gonna be running primarily spread.

I absolutely love watching this kid. I'll be at Venice's game once against this week just to see him.

With all of the stats, his team is 5-5 and they didn't beat anyone average. Which means he didn't take over any games in the highschool level. He plays in the kissimmee area where the comp is weak except Osceola He didn't face teams like dr.phillips, Apopka, Jones, Olympia, ect. Not bashing the kid and I hope he ball out up north but Miami can find better.

Y'all mfs want to complain when we can't beat fsu or any team worth a **** but want to keep taking prospects like this... foh with that sh*t... everyone doesn't deserve an offer from Miami.

I'm going to have to agree with you Sir enough with all these under the radar recruits.

He good but I would take alot of backs over him, he's not that alusive he only has one gear he looks like the biggest kid on the feild and he's not punishing nobody.

Had to look up this Matt Laroche kid....YES, PLEASE!!! We don't currently have a kid like this on our roster. We need this type of speed again.

Ray Lewis III piled up numbers against **** teams in Florida too.

Tell me why no one wants this dude, Parrotnose. You think you're the only one who knows he exists?

First off RLIII went to a 1A private school (Lake Mary Prep) that played other 1A crap teams and I said then that RLIII couldn't play for either one of the local high schools in his area of Lake Mary, FL. Where as Pierre is playing against teams in 7A which is Florida's 2nd largest high school classification. So your comparing Oranges to the Turds dropping out of your mouth as you speak; please stop it there are naked under age posters on the forum being exposed to your hot garbage analogies.

Have a happy Thanksgiving and remember to floss!

Go Canes

So that's why you're here....

Kid plays against much better competition then Ray Lewis III....not saying he is a take....

There is no denying Laroche is fast as ****, but he looks he is 150lbs soaking wet, which is probably why the big schools have stayed away.

It's a crap district that school plays in. Competition is average at best compared to others around the state at the same classification. Also, both UCF and USF is passing on this kid who have seen him multiple times.

No thanks

Y'all mfs? Foh with that ****? Am the only one who thinks Broke suffers from a split personality disorder? There are times that he tries to use proper English in his posts but usually fails and in some posts like he's from the hood. Broke is a fascinating poster with a very selective memory, you never really what you're going to get.

I hear ya. I don't know how much he weighs exactly but I can tell you this much, I've never seen him get physically abused. (and I've seen a lot of his games)

He absolutely embarrasses everybody he plays against, and many of those teams on his highlights are decent squads. They blew out Manatee High, Palmetto is always good on defense, Booker is loaded with athletes, Braden River has the most talent in Manatee County, Sarasota High has a bunch of talent, South Fort Myers has talent.

Venice is an undefeated team and they're blowing people out. It's 80% on the legs of Laroche. They have a QB who runs the ball pretty decent and he's Venice's counter-punch but for the most part Laroche is the only athlete they have. Their team honestly looks like Cooper City High or Douglas.

Laroche is not just getting by and putting up decent numbers, he's embarrassing teams.

I understand that Laroche is undersized. But that issue becomes null and void when none of your defenders can even get a clean hit on him.

I'm a believer that the whole size thing is overrated at RB, especially today when everybody is in the spread. This isn't the 90's where you expect your RB to blow through 8/9 man boxes. Personally, as somebody who played LB their whole life, I much rather tackle a 6'1" 230lb slugger all day then have to corral a kid like Laroche. That **** is frustrating.

I can tell you right now that he's better than Kevin Grooms, and we all wanted him at Miami. (he was 160lbs soakin wet and had character issues)

IMO this kid is gonna go somewhere small and absolutely light it up.

Wow, appreciate the heads-up on this kid.
The first 10 seconds of this video I was sold on his feet, especially as a DB.
Is he committed to any school thus far?
Who is after him?

I'm on on-board.
Kid is a baller.

There are folks in the NFL from the state of Florida that got passed up by the Big3 and even the UCFs and USFs.
And it is too early to say that he was passed up by the Florida schools.
It wouldn't surprise me if some P5 school picks him up.
