2017 RB Markenzy Pierre had 2600yds & 30TD's yet no UM love?

Y'all talking about offering this kid when most likely we will get 2 running backs that played in the under armour all American game.. no. That spot looks to be locked up let's focus on what we really need like oline,cb, receivers..

Ray Lewis III piled up numbers against **** teams in Florida too.

Tell me why no one wants this dude, Parrotnose. You think you're the only one who knows he exists?

Kid plays against much better competition then Ray Lewis III....not saying he is a take....

He's played against firm stool while Lewis played against diarrhea. So, yeah, technically he's played better competition, but the competition he's played is still fecal matter.

If we're gonna recruit an "under the radar" Running Back then it needs to be Matt Laroche. Kid is unreal. I watched him shred Braden River for over 280 yards rushing last week. He has ridiculous foot work and balance. He's undersized at about 5'10" 170 but he's a kid that can be effective around 190lbs. He's exactly the type of RB you want if we're gonna be running primarily spread.

I absolutely love watching this kid. I'll be at Venice's game once against this week just to see him.

I'd rather have a 210 pound RB who never plays because he's always hurt. You need big RBs even if they are always on the sidelines.

richt has a good track record of knowing rb talent.

That was when he had the UGA bag man helping him out. Now I am saying Coach Richt doesn't have an eye for talent, I am just saying he is seeing now hard it is land the Top talent that doesn't have a tie to Miami. As you can see that kids come here for the love of the program, lets not be confused where as at UGA there was a little extra $$ugar in the $weet.

McFarland missed his SR year and was jerked around by Bama an Miami is hoping with bated breath for sloppy seconds in landing him. Keep in McFarland still has not committed to anywhere he could pick UMD in the end, deciding to stay home. As for Burns he has been flirting with Notre Dame for the longest time, but Peter said he is hearing Burns is backed off of that recently so we will see what happens. The sad thing is there was no #3 lined up to pressure either one of these two to stop the recruiting shenanigans and jump on aboard 100%.

So tell me then who is the back up plan at RB for 2017, because we could be left with none?

Go Canes
Your first line shows you you have no credibility whatsoever, using Richt and bagman in same sentence. Coach has never and never will be associated with that kind of crap.

There is no denying Laroche is fast as ****, but he looks he is 150lbs soaking wet, which is probably why the big schools have stayed away.

I hear ya. I don't know how much he weighs exactly but I can tell you this much, I've never seen him get physically abused. (and I've seen a lot of his games)

He absolutely embarrasses everybody he plays against, and many of those teams on his highlights are decent squads. They blew out Manatee High, Palmetto is always good on defense, Booker is loaded with athletes, Braden River has the most talent in Manatee County, Sarasota High has a bunch of talent, South Fort Myers has talent.

Venice is an undefeated team and they're blowing people out. It's 80% on the legs of Laroche. They have a QB who runs the ball pretty decent and he's Venice's counter-punch but for the most part Laroche is the only athlete they have. Their team honestly looks like Cooper City High or Douglas.

Laroche is not just getting by and putting up decent numbers, he's embarrassing teams.
Looks a little like Isiah McakenIe.

Exactly. Perhaps slightly less explosive. And I only say that because McKenzie used to embarrass defenders the same way only it was against teams like Miami Central, Jackson, etc.

Quick as **** and good footwork , but not a RB at a P5 school he is tiny. Slot WR maybe not a RB.

He's basically the same size as Kevin Grooms, who was a RB that was committed to Miami until he had to head to Marshall due to grade problems. He was balling at Marshall until he got arrested.

Braden River has the #1 defense in Manatee County. He ran for over 280 yards against them last week in their playoff game. Earlier in the year they played Braden River in a regular season game and he racked up 325 yards and 5 touchdowns in that match-up.

"Venice RB Matt Laroche ran for 325 yards and five TDs in that win, and has enjoyed a record-breaking season for Sarasota County tailbacks. Laroche has 2,181 rushing yards to date."

He won area "Player Of The Year" over our Outside Linebacker Dequan Williams. This kid is an animal.

Grooms was recruited by Golden, so doesn't mean much. Plus Marshall isn't a P5 team.

For comparison Max preps has grooms 5'10" 185 and Laroche 5'10" 170, but we know how these measurements are usually completely off.

At Marshall grooms was 5'10" 168. Laroche looks more like 5'9" 150-155. Not a P5 RB.

Grooms was also recruited/offered by Virginia Tech.
I've seen both play (live) and Laroche is roughly the same size as Grooms and is a better/tougher runner.

But I get your point and don't necessarily disagree.

Can't find any offers for him, anyone recruiting the kid?

I can't either. I think he's got some small schools looking at him.

The thing with bagmen is coaches don't know. It's a completely different business. Whether we have them or not idk but I'm sure we do and so does UGA. Georgias bagman pockets are deeper than ours

naw Grooms was taller with a better frame. Groom frame could've been up to 175-180 in high school. This kid is at 160-165. He looks like a nice slot wr
