It can be questioned. Getting up for one game against a good, but depleted, Central team at home doesn't impress me.
Not trying to impress you and Dematha played that game technically without its best player, who happens to be visiting us today. Again, just look up who they play and where those kids end up.
Seriously, I could careless about DeMatha. Good school and they do a great job of recruiting like STA.
Central did not have a QB for that game. I have more respect for Bosco than DeMatha and STA. Why? Bosco will schedule the fully loaded Miami teams. STA and
DeMatha only schedules depleted Miami teams, like STA did with MNW and Booker T.
McFarland is a good player....nothing special.
Do you honestly think that DeMatha scheduled Central because you say they were depleted? Nothing I could say about that that would not be taken as an insult.
I happen to love Miami Central and think the world of the SF programs, so I'm not even arguing that. Simply saying McFarland is a great back, which we can just simply agree to disagree about, and that the talent Dematha plays is top notch, which again we can agree to disagree on.
Both teams were ranked around the same in the top-10, before the season started in one poll. Central was supposed to be loaded, too. McFarland played with an ankle injury that he sustained in the week before against one of the best teams from Virginia.
Maxpreps had Central ranked
#2 and Dematha
#14 in their preseason polls...

I can't find the one from nationalhsfootball.com, but both teams were on the back part of the top-10.
