2017 RB Anthony McFarland Jr

Dematha's competition is not in question. Silly to even think that. Look at who they play and where the players on those teams end up. Miami Central is no push over.

Cotman faces better talent than the crap talent McFarland's "Cherry Picked" team plays against!

Cotman is a better athlete hands down!

It can be questioned. Getting up for one game against a good, but depleted, Central team at home doesn't impress me.

Not trying to impress you and Dematha played that game technically without its best player, who happens to be visiting us today. Again, just look up who they play and where those kids end up.

Seriously, I could careless about DeMatha. Good school and they do a great job of recruiting like STA.

Central did not have a QB for that game. I have more respect for Bosco than DeMatha and STA. Why? Bosco will schedule the fully loaded Miami teams. STA and DeMatha only schedules depleted Miami teams, like STA did with MNW and Booker T.

McFarland is a good player....nothing special.
so Oxbridge in Palm beach is depleted?? Last time I checked they have Jonathan Garvin, Willie Hampton and 2018 S Cajun Smith( CJ ) who are all legit D-1 guys. Oh btw they all play defense

Anthony McFarland is better than any RB in Florida for 2016. Speed, power, & can catch out of the backfield. I wish he had more moves though. He's a bigger Dexter McCluster in my eyes. Bama wants him.

I don't know all the kids coming out of Florida this year, but McFarland is the real deal. Looking forward to read how his visit went.

Do you honestly think that DeMatha scheduled Central because you say they were depleted? Nothing I could say about that that would not be taken as an insult.

I happen to love Miami Central and think the world of the SF programs, so I'm not even arguing that. Simply saying McFarland is a great back, which we can just simply agree to disagree about, and that the talent Dematha plays is top notch, which again we can agree to disagree on.

Yeah, I hadn't been following the thread that closely, but the thought that Dematha plays weak competition was just laughable to me and I'm not even a big fan of Dematha or those teams in that league because they recruit away almost all the top players from the local high schools.

Can't discuss rationally with someone who thinks that high school football schedules are made up by people who know in advance that a certain player won't be able to play against them because of an injury they have not yet suffered.

You're all over the place. First you say they lost because they were depleted and that they played without their QB. So I responded that technically Dematha played without its best player in that game who is here on a visit. So, now its Dematha has a grand plan to find formally elite teams and beat them after their best players leave? And you go to sleep at night believing that. SMH. What was Miami Central ranked when Dematha scheduled them? Dematha couldn't go back and get its great players either, so what's your point? And who is to say Miami Central didn't ask for that game? All of which has nothing to do with Dematha playing against really good talent over the course of its schedule, which was my point.

You're right but they had Jamel Cook, Darnell Soloman, Kier Thomas, Eric Mitchell, Kenny Turnier, and Donavan Thompson who are all going to prominent D-1 schools

If that bothers some of you people, then be Bothered.
