2017 OT Adrian Ealy

Looks like Adrian Ealy will be coming for an official this weekend for the Duke game. Would like to have this beast in the class. He is also a EE so adding him will give us 4 offensive lineman enrolling early, that would be a big step toward improving that unit.

This isn't true. I just asked a source who said the staff doesn't even talk to Ealy anymore

So are they not high on him? Or does this speak to their confidence in other targets?

Could be as simple as they made the determination his interest isn't real and they're spending their time with guys they think they have a legitimate shot with.

His dad's quote is a lie regarding Searels calling him regularly and recruiting him hard. So who knows what they're up to at the Ealy house.

Are they that confident in the recruits they're after?

Probably confident in Bateman from Gadsden City, AL

Hopefully the staff's confidence is in Herbert & Slaton, not the lineman from Alabama without offers from Bama or Auburn who camped at FSU & UF and didn't get an offer from either program. That describes a Golden-level recruit and we need to do better.

Or the kid who Jim Harbaugh was after?

Sounds like when some were trying to defend Michael Jackson, another player from Alabama without Bama/Auburn interest, by saying he had a Clemson offer.

Herndon didn't have an offer from either school in Georgia. His best offer besides us was Miss. St. We turning him away if we had to do it all over again? Can Bateman play is all I care about

Definitely seems shady at this point. I'm especially interested to know why they are so **** bent on leaving home. Unless his interest is more in a free trip/vacation than actually coming here I'd still be recruiting him hard.
