Grimes is from the Northeast Ohio/Indiana...he is not from Florida....all his family is there and Ohio State was the first to offer and recruit him in 9th grade...Urban not letting up on him...kid will go to OSU

That's the losing mindset that has cost this program. Gotta keep pressing for the best kids. You never know. Maybe Meyer has another heart attack. Plus he's in Florida for a reason.

If Rumph can't get Slaton here then I give up on trying to understand that hire.

It's his HS coach and we signed one **** OL this year. We didn't get a visit from Burns, we lost Byrd and Miller. If you're gonna be a recruiter you better be a **** good recruiter. Get it done.

Personally, I think we have no shot at Slaton but that's just me. Besides, I don't think Rumph will be his main recruiter - Searles will.

As for Rumph, I think that if he can't land Wilson, that would be a bigger indictment of Rumph - not Slaton.

They will be recrutiing by area not position going forward.

Im from Florida but went to high school in Cincinnati and went to OSU, and it just seems like people from up here dont leave period no matter what they do . **** near all of my high school teachers were from Ohio, went to school and graudated from Ohio universities (usually Miami Oxford, UC, or Northern Kentucky University, etc) and came right back to where they were after graduating . Many people i knew in high school opted to go to in state universities instead of going out of state. Its like people from Ohio just dont leave. Alot of them want to stay close to family and thats why they do . Go off to school and then move right back to their hometown or nearby

I think we could win every game by 20 and this kid still would go to OSU . Its recruiting though you never know . I remember Sony Michel being dubbed a Cane lock since 8th grade and we see what happened there . But at the same time, i could see why he didnt want to play for Golden
