2014 Football Schedule

I've got to say, I like the way this schedule shook out. I think its as advantageous as possible for us:

* We get The Ville on their first game with a new coaching staff and new QB.
* Bye week before road game at Va Tech.
* FSU at home.

That's really all we ask for in a schedule.

I feel the same way about Louisville, the guys will be very focused for that game coming off of a loss to them and we will have a healthy Duke Johnson. Their are loosing a lot of players as well as coaches. We should win that game.

Some people on here need to pump their breaks, the sky is always falling, and there is never any positive outcome to anything. Haha Christ almighty. It's a ******* schedule. A pretty good one at that. The obvious tough ones being Tech on a Thursday and as always, FSU. People saying we're gonna lose 5-6 games are out of their ******* minds. Haha get a grip.

I'm an eternal optimist. The team will be more talented than this past season which is a plus. I think the game at Louisville carries a lot of weight. If they can beat them, Canes will have a very good season. I've predicted the last two years accurately with 7-5 and 9-3. Ill say 10-2. I like to think Miami learns from the bowl game and turns the corner in 2014. Otherwise, it's Golden's head. 10-2. 8-4 at worse. (Which will put Golden on the hot seat in my opinion.)

UL will be interesting... I agree it will set the tone for the season. Same D as this year and it will be a long season.

UL should be an easy win. They lost most of their team, and Olive Garden is installing an entirely new scheme on both sides of the ball. It's going to take him a little while to get on track. I don't think beating them proves a whole lot.

Louisville is the key. A win and season should turn out ok. Loss by getting scores on left and right will be a long season.

Not bad reasoning, but this team is just too retarded sometimes.

Ex: HUGE win vs UF last season, followed by a 7-0 start. End of the year was ****ed due to our *** beating by FSU

LOL, defend your position. The sky isn't falling we have data to drive our comments. You guys are basing this on hope and nothing else.

And Golden will be on the hot seat and he will have no choice but to get rid of Dorito.

Exactly my point. Should be a win, but if its not...

2014 @MIAMIHURRICANES FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

Sept. 1 at Louisville* Louisville, Ky. L Olive Garden now serves dorito's
Sept. 6 FLORIDA A&M Sun Life Stadium W Great to watch the band
Sept. 13 ARKANSAS STATE Sun Life Stadium W Home game - we pull this one out big
Sept. 20 at Nebraska Lincoln, Neb. L We are not parting the sea of red. Spicy Doritos
Sept. 27 DUKE* Sun Life Stadium L Cutcliffe ate our lunch last year. This year he adds another dish to eat - more Doritos

Oct. 4 at Georgia Tech* Atlanta, Ga. W Our zone D actually plays out well here
Oct. 11 CINCINNATI Sun Life Stadium L Its sick but Tuberville will come in and steal a win and a side dish of Doritos
Oct. 18 -OPEN DATE-
Oct. 23 at Virginia Tech* Blacksburg, Va. L Lol - Thursday night in blackburg - Black out and we get *** raped with Dorito crumbs in our *******
Nov. 1 NORTH CAROLINA* Sun Life Stadium L NC will be good next year as they finished with a bang this year. This one will chap our ***.
Nov. 8 -OPEN DATE-
Nov. 15 FLORIDA STATE* Sun Life Stadium L We better go buy an Industrial size bag of Doritos at Costco.
Nov. 22 at Virginia* Charlottesville, Va. W They suck - If we lose here the attendance for Pitt is 10K instead of 30K. Golden should be fired on spot
Nov. 29 PITTSBURGH* Sun Life Stadium W We win and this might save goldens job but Doritos has to be let go right after the game or there will be riots from Liberty City all the way to Coral Gables. Throw in Homestead also.
After a 5-7 season Golden is pretty much toast all because he wanted to serve Doritos at every game. **** Him. Time to get someone new. Only way this will change is if somehow they change their philosophy on the defense. If this changes then somehow all bets are off and I could a 10-2 or 9-3 season.

Precisely. There's no reason at all that a UM team with a HC in his 4th year shouldn't trounce a Loserville team with a brand new HC in their first game with all new schemes. But we'll probably make it a knock down drag out battle.

Which is exactly why we'll lose. Losing games like this has been Miami's MO the past 8 years

Lousiville is gonna have a big drop-off and a new coaching staff. Nebraska is interesting, they'll be breaking in a new QB, same with us. No ******* way in **** we lose to Cincinnati . The Tech game will be tough just because the night atmosphere in the Burg. We should win but that's a toss up, we should've won last year had we not spotted them 21. And one thing we know about Miami if you get them down they're pretty much done. And of course FSU will be a doozy. Tech, Nebraska, and FSU are the 3 I see us possibly losing. The major thing we have going for us is--most of our problems on D are gone, and our offense wil be better than last year with a new QB at the helm.

I honestly don't see how or why our defense would not improve. With the way we've been recruiting this should be the best defense Golden has fielded.....hopefully. Just close on Valentine.

Top 60 D or Dorito needs to GO!

Lol

Top 60 is now our benchmark? How ******* pathetic.

I'm not sure what UL has beyond Bridgewater, I'll admit. That said, UM is deeper and faster come September. I'll take UM.
Nebraska is another I don't much about but will take them at home.
VT is a toss up. I'll put us down for a loss at this time.
FSU, a loss.

I see 9-3 again...

Re: the schedule,

Our staff can't coach or motivate. We lose a couple games in the first month, the defense gets worked, players quit and we limp to a 6 win season.
