Don't renew your season tickets just means more room for me to spread out. You think not showing is going to change something? We don't show now. Let's all get ****ed off cause the guy interviewed for another job. If coach no D has our defense still looking like **** after the Neb game and no changes are made then *****

LOLOLOLOL at IF

LMAO

he was trying hard not ot say our senior sucked. imo he is too blame for being too loyal.

.@GoldenAl on Rashawn Scott, Kevin Olson and Ray Lewis, Jr., situations. They missed bowl game: "All of them were suspended , conduct detrim

WHEN THE **** DOES DORITOS GET SUSPENDED FOR CONDUCT DETRIMENTAL TO THE TEAM???

no apologist, but, the fans who cancel their tickets would be the 1st to show up when the team is 5-0 or 6-0 and claim how they have season tix and go to every game.

Wouldn't it be great if a reporter to walk into the press conference and say/ask, "What will you do if coach no d still allows YOUR defense to give up 500 yds a game, since we all know that is going to happen?"

Makes me ****ing sick.

Well at least I know not to get my hopes up anymore.

I had such high hopes for Al, but it's clear, he doesn't get ****!

Maybe YOU don't get this life "****"

Al simply has a set of beliefs that he ain't willing to breach in the name of the W.

You aren't D'Onofrio's friend and you just want more sacks from the front 4, so you don't give a crap, but Golden cares more than that.

If Golden is willing to fall on his sword for D'Onofrio, I think that says more about him as a man, than a National Championship ever could, but maybe that's just me looking at it through the prism of being a friend/person on the planet earth.

It's simply a matter of perspective. If you place winning above all else as a fan, then of course his loyalty to D'Onofrio will incense you, but if you look at it through the spectrum of being a person who has been someone's friend for over 20 years, I don't begrudge him his loyalty, it's the university's job to decide what standard they want to hold the football program to.

When he finished his PSU interview and came back to Pond Turtle and the AD saying he was staying and keeping NoDe, they should have added a new clause in the contract. If there is no significant improvement in the defense, and you still insist on keeping Mark D'Onofrio, your contract is immediately void, along with the buyout. He put pressure on them once to get a raise. Its time he felt the heat from others besides the fans.

Do you speak from experience?

honestly he has most of the fan base hatting on him, the only thing he can do to get SOME back on his side is to get rid of that piece of **** of a friend that is ******* up this defense

thats the only way he can show that he gives a ****

He's trying hard not to say he sucks, so he's hoping the assh0leface fans continue beating on the players to keep heat off him. Keep in mind, however, that these are the same players that Clouden's own recruits couldn't beat out 3 years into Clouden's hapless tenure.

And LULZ at the "he only played those guys because he's so loyal" horseshyt narrative floating around and picking up steam with the nincompoops. He played those guys because they were better than his guys. Period.

Golden asked why he waited until Sunday at 4 p.m. to release a statement on #PennState rumors when stories broke Friday. No real answer.

Manny Navarro ‏@Manny_Navarro 2m
Golden said the way defense will change is how some personnel is used in packages, etc. Said arrival of recruits will help #UM

Matt Porter ‏@mattyports 35s
Why did it take until 4 p.m. Sunday to release a statement? Golden said AD/staff informed him of how widespread "speculation" was.

Oh okay

Who the **** does this guy think he is fooling with this ****.

To be fair, no one was really talking about it at all during the bowl games, high school all-star games, or ESPN. Canes message boards were buzzing, but that's about it. If you are a non-message board fan, this past weekend was pretty routine as far as 'Canes news goes.

Unfortunately, there's a pesky little thing called a contract that would require Clouden's consent for that term to be included.

Wisdom is wasted on porsters.

For all those demanding 10 wins, and expecting 10 wins this year, you do realize that we haven't had a double digit winning season since 2003...right? He took over a dumpster fire and has increased his win total every year which buys him time. For all those demanding a return to the good ole days I don't want to break it to you but college football has changed A LOT in the last 10 years. Traditional powerhouse schools are no longer the dominant programs year in and year out. All those saying that we let recruits leave the 305 should know that a lot of those kids want to get the F out of here. With the internet and now football on almost every night of the week there are programs that people couldn't find on a map 10 years ago now getting 4 and 5 star kids out of Miami. The administrations priorities have changed and they're thrilled with a 9 win season, only the 2nd 9 win season since 2005. All the 'fans' not renewing their season tickets next year just STFU and don't renew. Meanwhile teams like Penn St and Michigan, that are as mediocre as we are, will pack 100,000+ into their stadiums. But there's so much to do in Miami...bull****, you'll be sitting your *** on the couch watching football still ****ing about Al Golden being your coach when one of the 'favorites' people want to take over had a fanbase fly a banner over the stadium saying he must go and then blatantly lying about not going anywhere only to leave like a thief in the night. All I can do is agree with people all over the country when they say what terrible fans Miami people are because it's true.

What will be your excuse if he doesn't get to 10 wins. You then cant say upward trend and we are improving.. Getting to 10 wins isnt an easy feat. Isn't that why we fired the last coach who peaked at 9?

The last coach that peaked at 9 had a regression the next year both record wise and talent wise. He was also a misfit when it came to public appearances and dealing with the media. Let's not even get into his personal life and what happened behind closed doors at the Hecht. Where in my response did I indicate that I'm an AG supporter? I did not and am not a supporter. Nor am I a slurper. I'm a guy that can be objective and look at what he took over and what he has done to this point. He may not win 9 games next year and I might be a lot happier than I was at the end of this season if I actually see what I deem to be player development and actual physical improvement. Draftable guys would make me happy because it would show that people actually developed in their time at the U. But I also understand that it takes time. I'm just trying to point out to people that they are clamoring for a coach that we tried to run out of town 15 years ago. Things aren't always greener and I'd rather have the cupboard stocked if it doesn't work out then to lose a guy with a month to signing day and have the rebuild fall apart again.
