#1 ACC Class

I’m sure the playoff committee spurning us this year and FSU last year was a nice extra juice for our foes last 24 hour recruiting efforts. You want a better chance of higher profile games and getting in the playoff? It ain’t at Miami.

There’s a lot of litigation between now and then, but I don’t like where it’s heading with this P2 setup.

PS. Hey Beavis; your mothers a slot
Can’t have just 2 conferences.
That is where we are going, we already on the ride but they have to slow dog walk the masses.. or boiled frog or whatever makes sense to you.. Plan in motion

FSU down, Clemson in the 30’s, Mack brown fired. Ga tech is recruiting better than they ever had.

We had a down year per Mario standards in recruiting but still the class of the acc
Clemson at 26 is pretty low for a guy that won’t use the portal

Clemsons hit rate on evaluations is unmatched.

They dont use the portal and are still a top 25 team.

75% of our recruits don't even contribute. Over 80% transfer out.

I'd swap Clemsons class for ours in a heartbeat.
He's going to have to use the portal this year or he's going to have less than 75 scholarship players. they signed 15, have 13 seniors, and average 11-12 portal departures/year

Your half right. All Miami had to do was win one more game beat either G Tech or Syracuse. That falls on Mario not the committee.

Being #1 in the ACC is like being the richest man in a homeless shelter

It's fools gold.

Best season in over a decade and we have the 15th class.

Mario has been downgraded from a great to a good recruiter - nothing elite about it, or anything else he does.
NIL means recruiting prowess means less.....

Money means recruiting is useless

Sorry, top SEC and Big Ten programs enjoy larger budgets. Recruiting is about money/NIL deals. Miami isn’t playing in same pond as some programs.
Recruiting is ALSO about conference association. The SEC enjoys a preferential spot, followed by the B10. This past signing day ... 88 of the top 100 recruits signed with the P2 ... and all 34 five star recruits signed with the P2 (26 SEC, 8 B10).

I'm afraid you might eat these words after the two portal windows......

Yeah, exactly. It’s likely about money. Recruits aren’t signing with the logo or necessarily the conference. Reps/advisers are presumably hunting the biggest payday.

I'm ok rolling with EW next year. Empty the portal checkbook on the other side of the ball and figure out how to get the **** out of this conference
