1-0. Just another fair weather day at the Crib - Aaron Feld

Noon games are just never going to be a draw. Not in So Fla. Add to it the level of opponent and it's a recipe for exactly what happened yesterday.

Exactly, this isn't new to the school. Noon game against lower tier schools are always going to draw this amount in So Fla in September/October. If this game were at 7pm it would have had way more people. Only way you're pulling full crowd in Miami at noon is a ranked opponent, it's that simple, no reason to keep fighting it, the school needs to work harder to convince the networks and others involved to put these games later.

Yeah, we are all aware of that but no one in the stadium or at home knew what would happen.

Every fan has *****ed about the school not giving a **** about the program. Well, the school and it's big money have proven they cared. The fans still don't give a **** unless it's an event.
Duh, did you go? Do you know what its like to sit in that stadium? I do and I wouldn't go to noon game in September. That's never going to change.

This is just another excuse

You're completely right, there is no excuse and it's somewhat disgusting honestly from the fanbase. But they need to quit fighting it, embrace the way it is and keep pushing to have these games later in the day to get the attendance up, it is what it is, no reason to keep complaining about it. The solution is to not have the games at that time, it's not going to change, it's been this way for decades.

Not sure he meant it as a shot to the fans. Probably saying that the heat doesn't bother them.
Having said that we have horrible fan support and that's a fact. We complain forever that they don't invest in football they finally do and we still don't show up.
We expect national championship results while giving conference USA support.
Did you go?

He needs to realize Miami will never be a sell out crowd at noon vs and crap opponent lol not even if we are defending champs I bet

When tickets are 10$ at gametime on most ticket apps. There is no reason why people don't come out. Let us beat Texas A&M and be ranked top 10 and people will show up. Just like in 17 when we were #3 after beating ND
Nobody will be at MTSU if we beat AM if its at noon.

This might be the biggest collection of dumbfuq takes I’ve ever seen. I’m going to have my daughter kick me in the balls for reading 2 pages of it. Everyone that posted here should go fuq themsleves… me included.

One thing that cracks me up about the “Well there’s just lots of other things to do in south Florida” rebuttal is that it proves the point.

Complains a man who makes probably 10X as much as me, a teacher, to scream at kids to lift more weight. I will be at the Middle Tenn game in 2 weeks traveling from NC because that's what ...I can afford a trip or two a year. Welcome to the real world Aaron.
As a blue collar worker who doesn’t make a ton of money, I get that. I would never expect out of state fans to show up every week for games. The problem is, the stadium is empty at noon on Saturday because the fanbase was too busy spending hundreds of dollars at the club on Friday night. Unless you’re destitute, going to a UM game that’s not against FSU should be easily attainable for most local fans. You can get tickets for these games for less than $20 and there’s a literal free parking lot if you don’t want to dish out the money for the cash lot. People just need to be honest and admit “I didn’t go to the game because sleeping in and staying home in the air conditioning is more important to me”.
