Mario, Gattis, Steele, Addae, starting to see some Mirabel mixed in but they all caught the initial bullets. I was waiting for the S&C staff to get it next. I mean they have had 9 months to make these kids bigger, stronger and faster. Who's next on the the list...Feld or maybe just for Strong.

if you look at the Oregon boards, they weren't sad to see feld go. they had a TON of injuries throughout the Mario era that weren't explainable. just guys dropping like flies. its also a nice crutch to excuse some head scratching losses. the signs were there. unfortunately, Mario brought him here. I dont think he gets rid of him.

im fine w Mario mirabal. its Marios OL not the limbless OL coach. Mario is the elite OL coach and **** get the line fixed once hes done bc its what he does everywhere he goes. he knows OL. he knows how to develop them. mirabal is just a puppet for all I care lol (yes I know he can actually coach but he wouldn't be in the p5 if not for Mario giving him the Oregon job). Mario improves OL whether or not mirabal is around.

I said it earlier but if we firing both coordinators then fire the entire staff. you can't fire the OC and leave the subordinates there. same w the dc. fire them all and let the new coordinators bring their guys in. Mario is now banned from having any input. he just focuses on the OL and recruiting. he is effectively back in his Bama role

Not sure why so many were happy to see Feely go..

Jokes aside S&C is tough to judge after one year, especially seeing the bodies we have on the roster. You can only work with what you got.

I want to see how Kelly (32) and Cyrus Moss develop to be a fair judge.

I think Moss has the type of genetics where he'll never be huge. He might max out physically around 230.

Well that’s just the internet and the world we live in unfortunately. I deal with it personally every single day

But S&C debates are usually among the worst that I see. S&C coach can do a lot sure, but you can’t really train people that don’t want to be trained. Even the most basic personal trainers out there know what that’s about

I don’t know a ton about Feld but I saw some good progress from a few guys in the weight room this off-season. But a few guys doesn’t change the entire atmosphere of a team

One thing that has given me some hope is the type of attitude I see with the guys in this 2023 class. Not to get ahead of myself too much but I’m seeing good signs about leadership, dedication etc not just talent

Those types of things I feel we’ve lacked. Kids should be terrified to slack off during a lift or a practice, not necessarily because of the coaches, because you can hide, but terrified of the leaders of the team

I think that’s been one huge thing we’ve lacked here for a long time
