1-0. Just another fair weather day at the Crib - Aaron Feld

They were 1-0 like they were supposed to be. Fans didn’t show up.

Currently one of our commits is at the swamp after they had one of the loudest stadiums in the country last week.

A fan base that says “we’ll come when you win” is fair weather. So what are you so offended by?

Yep...our fans are like "I demand you recruit at a high level"......but I won't show up so the stadium is embarrassingly empty when recruits visit.

Fans turned out week 1; why couldn't they do it again for week 2?

It's not like people knew the first half of the game would be contentious.

What's the excuse?

Miami has invested in the program. Big time money for a coach. Big time money for the staff. Big time AD. Leaders in NIL.

Why couldn't more fans show up than did today?

Last weekend, which was a holiday weekend, against an FCS school we had a bigger turn out

I saw more people on Twitter trying to give away tickets than ever this week. Why buy tickets in the first place?

Again… if we somehow get lucky to have Ruiz build us a stadium even if it seats less we should be ecstatic….

Hard rock outside of one MAYBE two games a season will always look more bare than it should. It’s a reality with us being a small private school in a town like Miami where I’m sorry but Southern miss doesn’t move the needle with excitement to sit in the sun

Lay a beating on teams like today as we should, consistently over time, and maybe fans will be confident that there will be an enjoyable reason to sit in a baking noon game.

What makes you think that a new stadium will make any difference on attendance?

This is a bad excuse. And then the excuse is, “why do I want to sit in the sun to see us win 63-14?” There’s always an excuse. Just go to the games.

As a couple of others have already stated, I'm FAIRLY certain that most of you took that tweet entirely wrong. Lol

Another humid day in Miami. That's normal (fair) to us. We won. Moving along. The work is the work.

After being a young man on Miami sidelines at the Orange Bowl for many years it spoiled me for wanting to sit in the stands of attend live games. Being older I just don't have the desire to deal with everything associated with getting to the game. I do wish more people would attend and pack HRS. It doesn't unnoticed by recruits or fans.

A humid day isn't normal for a team from Southern Mississippi?

I have lived in the South the majority of my life (first Georgia now Alabama) and to me Miami humidity is just different.
miami should refuse to play noon games in September against this type of opponent. people are unwilling to suffer through the heat and humidity for G5 games. all I can say is I did this for almost 30 years and I just don't enjoy it anymore. maybe I am old and suffering is for the young but anyway thats my opinion.
