Some of these takes look great in hindsight, But I don't think anyone predicted 7-5 with wins over Texas A&M and Clemson.

Don't think anyone predicted losing to GT, so doesn't matter much.

My gut said 8-4 but I went with 9-3. Unfortunately right now I can see losses to Clemson, FSU and Louisville which would put us at 7-5

Should be 9-3 because of roster and schedule.

Could be 5-7 because we don't have a backup QB and any injury to TVD or 2022 version of him forfeits season.

Will be 7-5 because its what Miami does to people. QB?, WR?, LT?, TE?, CB2?, DT? Coaching?. None of that leaves me confident.

Close but not quite. Just needed to change Clemson to W and both NCSU and Lou to Ls (not just one).

Don't worry, I'll predict 10 wins or better next time around. I'll spend most of the off-season/summer spitting the truth about our loser head coach. I'll waste $1500 on a Fire Mario banner against UF. He'll beat them by 20 and I'll start to believe. Then I'll be in the 15-0 crowd. Then ACC play will start and it will be time to fly another banner.

I came up with 7 wins and 5 losses based solely on the respective talent and coaching of UM and UM's opponents. I didn't factor in the potential effects of a loss or losses on team morale. Would 7-5 be satisfying as a fan? I doubt it, but I guess it would be a step in the right direction.
