Possibly. I mean if you look at the teams we beat we looked like we should have been a 9 win team but coaching choked us out so my point was we can and did beat Pitt and NC state but our coaching short changed us on inferior teams. We do have a new and more prepared staff correct?

Heart says 10-2 and we upset one of A&M or Clemson, but mind is telling me 9-3. Lose competitive games to those two, and probably drop one more late in the season. Still win the Coastal over Pitt though.

Biggest concerns for me would be consistent WR play and OL depth. If those two areas are better than I think, feel better about 10-2. I feel great about the defense and think both A&M and Clemson games will be low-scoring defensive battles.
 
Does anybody have a sportsbook with spreads for us for the rest of the season? I think I may have seen @OrangeBowlMagic post something about it before. Curious how likely Vegas says these scenarios are, based off of the spreads

Vegas has us at 8.5 for the win column. So Vegas agrees with the majority of us that it's either 8-4 or 9-3.

Yeah, but I'm looking for spreads for the games. Because Vegas probably thinks 10% 7-5, 35% chance of 8-4, 45% 9-3, 10% 10-2+ or something similar, but that's what I'm curious about

9-3 is my prediction. Hopeful for 10-2. Either way, make it to the ACCCG or it's a bust of a season...

Same.

We get some lucky bounces we can win 11. We get some unlucky bounces and more injuries we could lose 4-5.

I am going to say 9-3 and hoping for more.
 
9-3, win the coastal. And I know we have people here saying pump the breaks. But we beat the ACC champion at their place last year with the abomination of a coaching staff we had. D Line is miles better and that makes the D better. And we have a stud at QB.

And if we don't? On to next year where we only get better.
 
Should be 9-3 but I picked 8-4 due to it being a new scheme, new coaching staff, and that upcoming injury.

I feel like A&M will be the test. I am sorry but I am just not afraid of the ACC. Most likely a orange & green glasses thing, but I feel like we have the team to do what we need to do in the ACC this year.

I think our offense is going to be borderline elite, and yes I have heard ALL about our WR's dropping passes, but this is how I feel.

I am extremely optimistic about our defense...especially knowing that we only had to give up 11 less point last year to be 10-2...I just know we have to be better than that this season.

...andI am sorry, but **** UNC, we are not losing to them this year.

I am looking at A&M and maybe Clemson, but lots of people in the NCAA think if we win the Clemson game we might be playoff bound
 
10-2 we are going to play physical and with an attitude this year. We will no longer be soft on D.

Anything more than 3 losses and I’ll be really annoyed.

I’m not expecting us to win @TAMU or @Clemson as both teams are further ahead than we are at this point. I hope they are both just not blowouts like we’ve seen the last 10 years.

This allows us one more stupid loss which shouldn’t happen given our talent at QB and coaching staff’s preparation but they are still college kids so I assume we drop one more dumb game.

This still likely gets us to the ACC title though with a chance at a NYE6 bowl.
 
If I were offered a 4 series BMW for 9-3, or a 5 series for 10-2, I'd take the bet on the 5 series. We have 3 games we could LOSE, but only 2 of them we can get BEAT.
 
Anything less than 9-3 would be a disappointment. We are better and deeper at every single position group, except possibly wide receiver. However, I
have heard Redding and Brashard have come on strong as of late. Our coaching staff is light years ahead of what it has been in the past, and we have
top 15 talent. I am still allowing one miss-step just because.
