This wasn’t an undefeated team

Yeah I think 10 games of data we don’t need to nitpick or overthink it

We are who we are. But I’ve said quite a bit this loss, the bye, one thing this team does have is leadership

X. Cam. Those types of players can keep a team from going off the rails when they lose
That’s why I scoffed at the 2017 comparisons. I thought Cam was just too good to let that happen. Better leadership too. The D being so bad pulls the team back down close to 2017 though. That said , I still can’t believe it’s this bad , I’d never expected this D to look this horrid

It’s hard to get separation when teams are playing so far off trying not to give up the explosive. That’s why you take check downs and use the short intermediate stuff. Too many screens for a team that’s not blitzing. As I’ve said we played into their hands.

WR screens haven’t worked all year. No clue why they keep running the play.

You guys buying these in advance are just insane
Wanted to get in and get a decent seat at a decent price. If we would have won out and been undefeated going into the acccg I have a feeling that prices would be double or more of what I paid. If we make it I'll be satisfied with the purchase. If not, hopefully some of that SMU oil money will make it my way lol

We were an undefeated team. Because of one player. And when that one player can't win us the game, we lost. That's how our season will continue to go. There's no fixing this defense this year. Too many holes.

That response was the last straw for me with him. That was a massive guy punch to those of us who love this team!
Yea. There’s nothing quite like a ****y dismissive attitude to really make someone cross the line into repulsive. I have a feeling the fanbase gonna get real toxic towards him.

Quit being a buffoon, DMONEY. This defense will get boat raced by Syracuse with their bellies full of Thanksgiving turkey and their tampons unchanged. They WILL NOT be in Charlotte.
You seem so confident. Why don't you do what every CIS expert does and make a bet that if we make it to the ACC CG you never post again. LOL

I agree completely

Every week it’s like well we know Cam will do what he does. I would guess 99% of us thought he would take us right down for the winning TD yesterday

And even if he did that game was so jarring from a defensive POV. People were like well we got the stops! It’s like man…that game should have been a shutout. King is a gamer and he runs tough so maybe a couple fluke plays here and there but 28 points? To THAT?

I was shook I can’t even lie

Not even gonna discuss next season with Cam being gone…

Of course we did because he has a history of doing that.

He isn't infallible, however, nor is any elite QB at college or NFL level.

Cam wins far more downs than he loses.

It happens.

He’s the best QB I’ve personally seen here and honestly if he’s the best Miami QB I EVER see here I wouldn’t be shocked

It’s also pathetic how you can see the other team’s offense just ***** around and change formations/use motion because they know it puts our brain in a blender lol we just aren’t a serious football team

On Kevin Clark's podcast a while back, he was retelling a story of Patrick Mahomes getting coached up in the NFL coming out of Texas Tech, never wanted to take the checkdown and always wanted to make "the Superman play". They beat it into Mahomes' head to "be more Clark Kent" and take the checkdown, the easy 5-7 yard dump-off. And that Mahomes truly didn't become great until he was as much (or more) Clark Kent as he was Superman.

Cam needs to be smarter there. Loss isn’t totally on him of course. Everyone gets a turn at the blame game. But he needs to take it when it’s there and then they’ll creep up and he can make a big play. He has a lot to learn
