This wasn’t an undefeated team

I mean, we probably make the playoffs anyways. After 20 years of a 7-5 average, I am a pig in **** over here. I have no misconception that we are winning the natty.
I will say this though, if we can somehow snap into our A+ game during a playoff run, we can beat anyone's A-. No one is beyond elite this year.

Just post more kool aid
Wait why is this more kool-ade? Bc, he’s pointing out our flaws and problems, but also reasons to be optimistic and hopeful to get back on track. WTF, was your prediction for this season at 10 games., doubt it was 9-1. And, correcting and addressing issues is not drinking Kool-Ade, it’s coaching and continuing to make adjustments for a program that’s 3yrs in a rebuild. They so far have exceeded my expectations and hopefully will continue to. Sometimes success breeds entitlement. But that’s mostly on the fans. I don’t see entitlement from these kids, just the expectations to win. And when they don’t they get back to work. Diminishing their accomplishments is on y’all, they just want to win, every week, 1-0 every week. They live that reality, obviously not yours. 🙌🏽 Go Canes

They did. It has no bearing on our situation. If Clemson beats Pitt at Pitt next week, and Miami wins out, Miami goes to Charlotte. That simple.
Hopefully Virginia beats Pitt tonight. That way by the end of the bye week, the board might accept that we control our own destiny in the ACC

Roberts, Harvey, Hunte, Gillote should all be here.

Baron shot his wad in September.

Mesidor is playing out of position.

Bain forces down a dessert after every meal.

Barrow appears nicked up and not effective.

Clark, Cook, Campbell are what they are.

Alston is JAG. Moten is JAG.

Scott, Blount, McConathy, Pickett aren't allowed to play.

And Jason Taylor is ghey.

Can't argue with any of it. JT's group being so bad in ACC play is surprising to say the least. And people were worried he'd be gone for a DC job soon.

It doesn’t matter if you have a Bama level roster or a UAB roster. Coaches can make sure their players understand the stakes every week. Players whose heads aren’t in the game get benched. How many times this season has Sam Brown slowed down when he shouldn’t or dropped easy passes? Just because he’s getting paid NIL doesn’t mean he needs to be in the game. ****, if Ward isn’t taking check downs and f#cking up the offense, run the wildcat a couple plays so he gets the message. This offense is supposed
To score 45 ppg. Inexcusable to not even hit 30 against GTs pass D, which Is one of the worst in the country. Players clearly didnt have any urgency this game.
Now we’re benching a heisman front runner? Lol

Here’s the deal with Ward in my opinion.

It’s not his fault.

Ward is and has been known for his ability to improvise, extend plays, make something out of nothing and give his receivers a chance.

When it comes to our receivers, they are some of the worst in the country in terms of creating separation. That’s why you see a lot of creativity in the RPO, screens and especially rub routes to get X open.

Most of the time the play has to develop and breakdown so that the receivers can do what they practice with Cam, and that’s be where they need to be when plays break down. That’s what you’ve seen with JGs big TDs in the back of the endzone rolling out with Cam, X on the sidelines etc.

Now, with the lack of separation skills, it forces cam to be perfect and precise with every throw. Even though Cam is the best QB in the nation, being dialed in on every throw isn’t his strong suit.

At the end of the day, we don’t have anybody that threatens the defense vertically, and we have been getting clamped for 3 weeks now.

Brown was supposed to be that dude for us, but for some reason things aren’t clicking like everybody had hoped.

Long winded answer, but a lot of the blame is on the WRs. Not blaming everything on them, because he has been playing hero ball a lot but we don’t have somebody that can just beat their man off the line of scrimmage. We have to scheme people open.

Not benching. That’s why I didn’t say put in Williams.
You’re pulling him out so he “gets the message”. That’s benching him. You have to take the good with the bad. He’s by far the best QB we’ve had in over 2 decades. Did you call for Dorsey to get the bench in 2001 when he threw 4 picks at BC?

He's no longer the Heisman front runner. Cam is great, but he acted selfishly at times today. Looking for big plays and big stats and big moments instead of taking the 7 yard check down. I was disappointed in him at times today.

eh yes and no. Our WR core is certainly above average. Every team in the country would love to have X. Do we have a true elite Wr1? No. But against GT you shouldnt need that. Our WR's can get open on short and intermediate routes, our bread and butter.

They are BAD at go-routes (not enough speed) so why are we throwing those routes?
They are BAD at WR screens (not enough twitch/shiftiness) so why are we throwing those routes?

Cam was just bad/off today. Brown was wide open on that TD, Cam overthrew him. Another play shortly after both X and Arroyo wide open in the middle for TD's and Cam throws in out of bounds to no one.

The DL with the exception of barrow has been underwhelming ! The biggest disappointment to me has been Baron tbh, timely penalties, bad at setting the edge. He’s completely disappeared. And anyone had a Mesidor sighting ? As for Bain, I’ll give him a pass for now bcuz he is creating pressure, but doesn’t look 100%. Nonetheless, as a unit they aren’t living up to the hype.

that team wasn’t entirely dependent on Dorsey carrying them
each game. Defense was more than sufficient to let him play through it. We don’t have that luxury. Ward was trying to win a Heisman today instead of just taking what the defense was giving. And Dawson wasn’t helping with his constant screens.

I said a front runner, not the front runner. Didn’t play perfect but didn’t destroy his chances either. Still ended the day completing 65% for 350 and 3 TDs with no picks. He’s been holding on to the ball all season. You have to take the good with the bad.

My only gripe today is despite our trash defense, and i mean hot trash we finally have got stop at crucial point of the game. AND gave the offense the ball with the game in our hands. Only to have cam run in circles with the ball while have a clear cut check down. That to me is inexcusable.

We did have some big hits doe…..

I don't think he is A front runner anymore, either. Hunter, Gabriel and Jeanty are firmly ahead of him now. If it were the Olympics, he wouldn't get a medal. That is not a front runner. Cam showed selfishness today. Very un-Heisman like.

When it ends in a win it’s heisman like. If it’s a loss it’s selfish. Got it.

Was gifted some new Miami gear for my birthday this weekend. Knew we were cooked right there. I never buy any for myself mid season because I expect it to jinx us and bring an immediate loss.
Happy Birthday!!
