So if Oregon wins the chip, what does that have to say about Mario? We had the best qb in the league and still couldn't get it done. You can hate the messenger, but not the message.
Precisely. People would rather come after me (the messenger) on a personal level than address the truth of what I post as well because deep down in their heart after all the innuendo, insecurity, and insults, they know people like you and me are correct. Mario ain't building jack sh*t here. Even with the toaster struddle bowl, the correct move is to let Cam prep for the NFL Draft, instead Man Tatas, seeking an 11th win and more stable job security going into next year, is going to trot him out there and not evaluate Emory Williams to see what you have for next year. It's ridiculous. Cam, whom I love, is in the past. Evaluate for the future.

Need to ask GM Lombardi if Bill plans to hire Judge and Patricia as co-offensive coordinators. Smart to look in mirror before taking shots at others. Hiring Judge, special teams, and Patricia, defensive coach, to run the offense was key to Bill’s crash and burn.

The shot would be fine from someone else, but Lombardi is a failure and pariah. The only thing keeping him relevant is his friendship with Belichick. For the last decade, he's been exiled to podcasts where he makes bitter rants and runs off co-hosts.

One of the reasons Belichick has been a disaster without Brady is because he keeps around flunkies like this fat idiot.

Underachieving? Win bowl game and best season in over 20 years. Take your tears somewhere else
Underachieving is the BEST description to say the least and the man is correct. Please you Mario slurpers make me laugh all the time.

“...I mean, Mario Cristobal has been wonderful in recruiting, but they haven’t been able to get to the final 12. You got to build a full team, it’s not about winning the recruiting battle. It’s about making the team the best it can be. So, for me that’s the job.”

We were unranked in the preseason here. You all are acting like we were a consensus playoff pick that fell apart and vastly underachieved. Mario might not be the guy, but this season is not the evidence for that.

Weren't we #19 going into the Florida game?

If he does win, he has something to claim. Otherwise, it’s 2017 all ove

No, it’s 2017 all over again if we go 7-6 next year. Most important is we follow up with another competitive 10 win plus season in 2025

We're the top-recruiting team in the ACC, so of course he's trying to come for us.

Clumsy potshot.

I've heard this bleephead for years because he's always hated the Bears.

This dude utterly sucks at his job.

I don’t understand why the **** you would care what another grown man is doing. It’s weird to me.

It's amazing how quick fans on this board and in our fanbase in general love to jump to defend douchebags that denigrate people in the program. The fact that someone on this board could fix their mouths to say "Well Lombardi is right" immediately after a 10-2 regular season, knowing that Miami has reached double digit wins ONCE in the last TWENTY YEARS is beyond me.

Is Mario flawed? Of course he is, so is **** near every other coach out there. That said, he's managed to do things in regards to building out the program that no other coach has done and that's something to be applauded. Contrary to popular belief, I doubt that Miami goes back to 7-6 next year. Years of high end recruiting will bear fruit, as it usually does. Miami may be a 9-3 team next year(QB play TBD), but I don't think this program is smoke and mirrors anymore.

Honestly I think Belichik made a mistake here. His ego is immense but I doubt he has what it takes left in his tank for what college football has become. He left bull **** and politics of the NFL for more bull **** than the NFl. He better make the right hires to do the leg work.

As for the shot at Mario its the opinion of quite a few in the college world. This year and the way it ended the criticism is warranted. I just hope it fuels Mario going forward. But, when you make 8 mill a year you can handle criticism.

If Mario was to be feared by the rest of the college football world, we would be in the playoff and undefeated right now. His hit rate with high school recruits panning out here is abysmal. Honestly, I have no idea why Highsmith wasn't given total power as GM to scout and recruit personnel completely. Miami needs a true GM who is more decisive and intelligent with football moves than Mario.
I need some of whatever you are smoking. This is one of the dumber takes I've ever read. Mario isn't close to perfect, but he has recruited 3 freshmen All-Americans in the past two years.

Can you name how many Dan Lanning has recruited?
