Losing 2 of the last 3 isn't the way in, but **** Alabama and every **** associated with them.

I’m asking for clarification because I really don’t know. Does UM have a chance if Boise State loses?
Nope big 12 champ and UNLV would fill the last 2 slots. One guaranteed spot is ranked below us (big 12), so we’re basically 13 in a 12 team field

Not of it makes sense. But we knew we had to win and we didn’t so I’m not disappointed or upset. Have to think if Georgia Tech actually beat Georgia what that would have meant. But it’s all hindsight now. We were up 21-0 and blew it. All our fault.

Please tell me they explained how on earth they put Alabama ahead of us. It's insane how we didn't deserve it but also are being cheated out of it at the same time. We lose two single possession games against a solid g-tech and number 22 Syracuse, they get motorboated by Oklahoma and lose to vandy PLUS A NOTHER LOSE and get ahead of us...

The problem with the "nobody to blame but ourselves" argument - while technically true, why doesn't this argument apply to Bama? Why do we have nobody to blame but ourselves but the team ranked ahead of us gets to be absolutely shellacked by a ****** Oklahoma team and "earns" a playoff spot?

I wanna win every game, sure, but I want the playing field to at least be level enough to not be laughable. If we have to go 11-1 or better just to be in the conversation, that's not "nobody to blame but ourselves."
The SEC and and Big 10 are going to do this every year to us. The fact that the ACC will only be represented by a single team if SMU wins is insane. While the SEC has a bunch with 3 losses. Next year with will be the big 10 with a bunch of 3 loss teams and the SEC will be cleaner like the Big 10. And we will be left in this position until we win the ACC championship, jump ship and join the SEC or Big 10 or the ACC sticks it to the SEC when given the opportunity.

I wonder if Clemson beat USCw if the narrative would have been that Clemson beat them or that USCw is a crappy team.

Miami loses on the road to a currently ranked team and drops 6 spots.

Ohio State loses at home to an unranked Michigan and drops 4 spots.

Nobody to blame but ourselves but how does that make any sense
Bama lost to vandy and a very bad Oklahoma team.

We lost to a ranked team with a top offense and a team that should have beaten Georgia

Sec always getting the benefit

Timing of losses is huge. Had we lost to UF and Cal or VT but won all other games we’d probably be in.

Is the only way if Georgia gets absolutely blasted by Texas? Could that change anything? Or PSU getting absolutely annihilated by Oregon? (Doubtful but curious)

Doubtful. Only SMU has a chance to lose its playoff slot since it would make room for Bama. No way the others would be left out

funny thing is we all said we were out when we lost to Cuse and then allowed ourselves to get gassed up by the media making it interesting for us lol.
agree - i was sure we were out as soon as we lost but everyone kept showing stats about how we were more deserving than bama over the last few days. now i just hope clemson wins a close one and it doesn't matter anyway
