The question I'm dying to get an answer on is if Mario is going to allow our DC to bring some of his coaches from the Wuerzburg Panthers.

Unless you believe our defense last year would've held Wisconsin to 36 yds rushing, 3 of 14 on 3rd down conversions, and 3 yds per play, then I'd have to call this an upgrade.

I think that’s why the only thing that caught my attention was him saying he doesn’t want guys to think and want things simple basically. Happy to get back to that.

I've been watching a lot of Minnesota's Defense from last year. Don't crucify me, but I wasn't super impressed.

I could be wrong, still gotta dive deeper into full games. They def held their own against Penn State. Idk I don’t see a super aggressive D, maybe that’s a good thing. I do like his coverage scheme though.
If this defense performs AS NORMAL or even to the standard or above, that's all we can ask for. This guy doesn't have to be the second coming of Schiano, he just has to be a lot better than Guidry. That will get us into the playoffs. I am assuming that we can perform up to standard offensively and go 10-2 or 11-1.
I'm also assuming that we pull the upset at home against ND. I think they're beatable, but Beck will have to get his arm back into throwing shape AND we'll need a top WR1,
