You won't hear anything concrete for a few days. But, there are internetz rumors that we have a few guys banged up from VT that probably won't play against Cal
I think with Bain back they can afford to lose alston for a little bit. I think Barrow and Harris are important. Not loving what's behind either one of them

I think based on Mario's comments if Alston, Baron, Barrow were as beat up last week, Bain pushes through and plays. But those guys were healthy. I think ideally the plan would be a snap count this week, get him used to game flow, then a rest with the bye. I assume 1 if not more of the 3 listed above sits out Cal and uses the bye week to heal if Bain is really back.

As gambling continues to be legalized in more and more states, they’re gonna have to force the NCAA to make injury reports mandatory.
Not just that, it's also in regards to health & safety. Only a matter of time till a player gets screwed out of a NIL deal because doctors from the University have lied to him about his injuries to make him play.

Baron isn't banged up. He was dealing with cramping and hydration issues. Same thing with Jaden Harris. We need to get a tighter lid on making sure these guys are hydrated appropriately.
Has that been confirmed anywhere? I did see Baron continue to play and barrow came back at the very end so all good signs there

IDK man, Baron has been dealing with a cramping hamstring since USF and Harris was in **** near tears after one play. Cramping may have been what put them over the edge but I think they are dealing with some stuff.

Didn't he say Rivers would be back last week. Afa injuries are concerned, believe what you see not hear if it's coming from Mario.

Based on that tvd bs last year we know if you can play, this coaching staff will encourage you to play. Despite how glaringly obvious it is that you aren't fit to play. If these 2 very important players are out (still), it's not precautionary, it's serious. If/when they come back, I hope they're a full go.
Mario has flat-out said you will not hear accurate injury reports from him. Fact.

Allston looked like a bad Hamstring

Every test is real, we have no gimmies, everyone will play to 150% of their talent and effort level against us. Part of being Miami.
By test I meant Greatest opponent we’ll face on paper so far but yeah all games are tests.
