Sometimes when you give people credit for having an ounce of intellect you're simply overstating the case... Plenty of things you could and should be critical of Mario & everyone else for. Does that mean when he corrects the issues you were critical of that lame pricks(not saying u of course)should simply harp on the past over and over and over and ignore any progress? Does it help to say the same exact line over and over or maybe simply say what you got to say and see how it goes from there...
I will never criticize is HS recruiting, it’s been phenomenal since he got here. He’s had a few nice portal additions as well.

But you can’t spin his inability to attract top QB, DT, and WR1. Additionally, his coordinator hires as we all know, we’re horrendous. We have no idea if he’s corrected that, only time will tell.

But some posters get very defensive and come to his defense if you point out some of the weaknesses I mentioned above and want to belittle anyone who isn’t 100% supportive.

I’d like to point out as well that being 100% supportive and bringing up cogent criticisms through a medium that calls for discourse about the team and everything surrounding it is not mutually exclusive.

He had rashada committed & locked in until uf came and lied to the kid to get him to decomitt by offering him an absurd amount of money when not even the numbers we were offering were even close. When the kid came crawling back after he ****ed up he burnt his face with us. It would've been a horrible look moving forward to take a kid back after that. Dt ur time will change inside of two weeks tops... Wr no one wants to hear what happened last cycle cause it plays out like a soap opera with our former oc. Oc hire you call it what you wish but the man was literally coming off winning the broyles award for top assistant in the country. What a horrible hire he was. Hindsight being what it is excuses aren't relevant but it took a while lot of things going wrong that no one had control over most of it to get what we got last season. Dc I strongly disagree was a bad hire. He took a unit that was built to play nothing similar to what he asked out of them(similar to gattis)and got decent results all things considering. Not gonna make excuses for him cause it's not relevant anymore & ur right we can't say what's what because it hasn't happened yet but to act like he's been here forever and look how bad we are is a lil crazy. Feel free to look through the records of 90% of the winning programs now and see where they were coming off of a losing staff in the first few years. Everyone wants to love on fspoo around here now. Well look at them. We're ahead of the curve. We just don't always need everyone saying nothing but the same negative nonsense over and over. Speak their minds and move on.

Canemag - in all fairness - Mario shot himself in the foot right out of the gate - stressing he wanted to RUN. I'm cool with running - it sure takes the starch out of your opponent - IF you can successfully run - and have the horses to do so.

So we can't get top QB's and top WR1's. Is it even possible that a OLine Head Coach who wants to run - might have run a lot of passing game talent off with his emphasis on he wants to RUN? Is it even POSSIBLE?

So after several years of doing detailed, analitical interviews - he brought in Gaddis. What a disaster - we can all agree on the fact that Gaddis knew offenses as much as an earthworm knows about space flight.

Now we couldn't pass - we couldn't even run. We couldn't do diddly squat on offense. It was beyond shameful.

So you combine he wants to run - with an offense that can't run or throw - and somehow that's supposed to bring in top offensive talent at QB and WR's? Not in this universe. And being an offensive lineman in times past - DT's are supposed to be kicking the doors down to get into Miami?

So he screwed up. Perception is often more powerful than reality - except in this case -

Now, I think he's had a Come To Jesus moment. He's gotten rid of the fraud Gaddis, he's got a pretty good QB to help us get another offense going - and a coach who actually can GO on offense.

He's pressing hard for DT's now - and is in the process of loading up an Offensive Line that on appearance - will certainly get enough push to actually run the football.

I've *****ed and moaned as much as anyone about those mistakes - and I've heard he's one stubborn SOB - however - the moves he's made is indicative of a coach who is catching on to correcting those mistakes - and he's going to correct the perception that we're shooting to duplicating the 1980's Nebraska team of run, run, run.

My suggestion is - let's hold off on arguments made pertaining to last season's setup - trot our players and coaches THIS season - and see more accurately what is worthy to ***ch about.

I made a mistake once - (later discovered I was right to start with) - which in of itself is another mistake - so I gotta give the man credit for making changes. He doesn't make publicly known decisions fast enough for me - but he's apparently CIA material - like a Secret Squirrel. He moves like an Apache - the greatest guerrilla fighters that ever walked the Earth.

Everyone took notice. But with how many kids try to do all this without paperwork or an agent quote unquote not sure how it will ever be avoided. People like deion are out there promising kids the world till they commit. Most of them simply commit off his word cause heaven forbid an icon of theirs who's also a black dude for the community would ever lie to them. Then they get there and realize 9.8 out of 10 there is no paperwork. There is very little bread on the front end & if you have an injury you really ****ed. They're holding out till they see results entailing 5 or 6 ges into the season... That's the norm. These jits all think this nil is huge for them till they realize it's mainly smoke and mirrors cause they know most kids don't have the resources or the guidance to get everything done right... It's sad how these kids are getting played out of their futures but it's not like kids aren't sticking up schools too. So it's a double sided blade for all involved.

I agree with your 1st and 3rd paragraphs entirely.

As for your 2nd paragraph, I get it but I think the DT thing gets fixed next like OL did. Of course you’re right in that the Gattis hire was harmful but IF Dawson can show otherwise on the field - which I think will happen - I think Mario will fix WR and QB recruiting as well in short order.

He’s building the foundation strong in the trenches. It’s not the glamour of the QB and WR positions up front but you know the impact that should have on the field.

So many ads the site runs at a snails pace now. Wish there was another. Can't even see the sentence I'm writing until three hours later. Hoping there isn't any spelling errors cause I know the Grammer police watching.
Lmao facts. Man it literally took me 3 whole mins just to hit the "agree" reaction for your post. ****s ridiculous man

@Andrew, can we offer a $15 version of Premium called Premi where they get only 1 as opposed to 2 full-sized ads per page? Think gateway drugs and free drugs from dealers to hook clients.
