Hey CIS
Find some faults to complain about. I’m sure some of you will find something wrong with her.
The same place that thought Nesta was gonna dominate has people who have a problem with linebacker who plenty of schools want.

All I know is I wanna get arrested. Maybe we can agree that this is 5 star talent!

Welcome to the U Zeek!!

For me this a good pickup. Not 6'2 and above but a good player with really good offers from teams who know what they doing with LBs. Staff has shown they know what they are doing with OL and LB, imo. Oh yeah and i am all for more kids from Central, Chaminade, STA etc.
He may not have the physical measureables to be a top end NFL LB, but he will be a nasty college player, because you can't teach instincts. Guys that know where to be and have the physical ability and willingness to do what needs to be done are valuable at any level. Some guys are straight up football players and from what I've seen of this young man, he's a football player. Worst case scenario, you have a straight up savage on special teams.

Congrats to the kid, welcome to the U

As for the pick-up, think you got to start looking at everything different thru the portal/NIL lens. Kids like this are prob low NIL, high character guys with some upside. If they dont develop in 2 years, they'll politely be helped to portal out to a school more fitting. You no longer have to worry about guys clogging up scholly spots for 4-5 years if they dont work out.

Soooo Corey Flagg 2.0??

Go Canes

Bad comparison. I hated the Flagg offer go read the scripts. I am a fan of this take.. … Kid doesn’t have top end speed. But he’s got a bunch of other high end attributes and is a quality take for a bunch of reasons.

Maudes, no ******* around here, can we reinstate JZCane's former posting status?

He's now intentionally trying to take his revenge for his banning by posting nonstop negativity.

This is a kid's COMMIT thread, and he had to be the first guy, not to mention calling him a "reach".

ZERO constructive contributions from this guy since he returned from his porsting vacation.

How does this guy compare to Vincent Shavers for those in the know?
i liked Vince more at this point as he had a bigger frame to add weight. Im also extremly bias to the situation

Marcelin is a sawed off backer i dont see him getting or needing to be above 220.
One thing about Marcelin is he flashed in big games...it never took long to notice him on the field and he tracks the ball well.

They just like to be bothered. They prefer the Larry Coker classes that didn’t amount to ****. Nix and Melendez are different body types. But a kid near 6 ft and 190 that has his attitude work ethic and was a 4 year starter on one of the best programs in the nation doesn’t move the needle. Kids offer list is legit. If he’s the third backer I’m happy. We are stacked at backer.

Maybe all these scouting geniuses prefer a taller, heavier linebacker that misses lots of tackles?

Is he really? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
dont ever doubt a prop joe kid.

I expect Marcelin to be an early enrollee and hear similar things next spring...because those Central kids are hard nose and coached up pretty well.

Its all about expectations in my opinion. The top dog is Melendez easily...a class with Nix involved along with him is really good considering wont need him ont he field early at all
