Don’t think anyone is talking about Pruitt when they say “Diamond in the rough”. I think most fans like him and his potential. That being said, although On3 upgraded him to a 4 star today he’s still a 3 Star on the composite which is what everyone refers to when discussing stars. He’s also a 4 star on 247 so it’s just a matter of time before he’s a 4 star on the composite.
Think you need to check that. His 3 star is from 247 and his composite is now 4. The ratings are changing like crazy. Trader is 4 star now, Franklin and Breeland 5s. The point is, there’s a few guys that will rise. So this stupid notion that our staff has a bunch of bums committed is silly to me.
You have it backwards. 247 used to show the composite as the default rating but they just changed it. Pruitt is a 4 on 247 but a 3 on the composite. Franklin a 5 on 247 and a high 4 on the composite.

With todays update we have as many commits inside the top 500 as we do outside the top 1000 (5 including the kicker). Is it full of bums? No but there is cause for concern. We desperately need to shift momentum and start landing some of our higher targets soon. If anyone of our rivals had this class we would easily add a 1000 pages to their threads laughing at them. I thought everyones rank got updated on 247 but I noticed they're using their own ranking rather than composite now.

See, that’s the problem. With the season we had last year, and the fact we’ve been down for so long, I don’t feel like most fans are unreasonable and expecting a top 3 class, but when you have the type of class we had last year and follow it up with....this...it has most of us scratching our heads. I’ll say it again, I have zero problem with us taking some 3 stars, but when you have multiple recruits in the 1000’s who are bordering on 2 stars, with very few whales mixed in, it’s just not what you expect from a Mario recruiting class. I used to think if we had a great season we could turn this thing around, but now we’ve dug ourselves such a deep hole, I just don’t know anymore.
We probably have to go on a hot streak and sign 10 to 12 more guys all 4 to 5-star players just to get our class average above 90

I have no opinion on him. Simply making a statement and having fun with the fact we have dudes ranked in the 1000,s that our board is excited about but if our rivals like FSU/UF had dudes in the 1000,s we would be clowning them.
I find it all very funny cause Zo is here that we all have changed our stance on recruiting low 3 stars
And trying to justify it. Ppl have lost their minds with this class it’s comical haha.
