I would love to see John Swafford publicly issue a statement supporting UM, as well as other university presidents.

Man-crush on Tim Reynolds

I'm waiting for him to report that Nevin Shapiro wakes up every day and says,

"I'm not going to get gang banged today. I'm not going to get gang banged today."

And show that just because Shapiro says it twice, it still isn't true.

This story is any real journalist's wet dream.

A cluster**** of epic proportions with layers upon layers of hypocrisy to uncover.

What discovery process?

You have 90 days to respond. I would imagine any school that has been charged would like to see the evidence. Why wouldn't they provide it up front?

That's the 90 days. You ask for their support, they provide it. They're not going to make it public.

Did anyone think that the NCAA would ***** up this investigation this bad in the end? I mean WOW, this is a meltdown in the most epic proportions. Hey maybe they can get their own 30 for 30 film out of it, as long as Jay Bilas does all the commentary lol.

I'd love for them to name Robinson in a suit. Not that Miami would win (it's very difficult to prevail over a "news" organization), but because the number one rule for journalists is don't get sued. That is a death sentence for most careers.

The University of Alabama has not received any notice of allegations regarding former UM assistant Joe Pannunzio.

whats a 10.1 charge and what are the consequence of it?

CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- The NCAA believes former Miami assistant coaches Clint Hurtt, Aubrey Hill and Jorge Fernandez provided false or misleading information during the probe into the universities' athletic programs, a person familiar with the situation says.

The person said the NCAA has accused all three of violating "principles of ethical conduct" as part of the notice of allegations served against the Hurricanes. The person spoke to The Associated Press Wednesday on condition of anonymity because the allegations have not been released publicly.

Hurtt and Hill were members of Miami's football staff. Fernandez worked on the men's basketball staff.

Several other coaches are named in the allegations, including Missouri basketball coach Frank Haith. But only Hurtt, Hill and Fernandez are facing the ethical-conduct charge, commonly known as NCAA Rule 10.1.
