I think the most important consequence is that we now hold the favor of public opinion. 2 1/2 years ago people were calling for the death of our program, and today things have taken quite a turn.

This will come down to the COI and not the court of public opinion unfortunately. If that were the case we would have gotten off with time served after the investigation detailed how much the ncaa cheated

Yep, this guy gets it. The COI could care less about public opinion, they're more likely to side with the NCAA, than be swayed by what people are saying.

Thats why Donna put that last part about the COI in her statement. She, and all of us are hoping the COI will do the right thing

i dunno... coi may still be a little bit miffed that emmert went solo on penn state. they are independent of enforcement and are now the last bastion of the ncaa's legitimacy. with everything surrounding our case, their ruling will determine the future of the ncaa.

When will the NOA's be made public for butt-Hurtt, Aubrey Hill, Joe Pannunzio and Jeff Stoutland? Do we know if they got them yet?

"Can't Wait"

We only know about Haith's because he came out and said it. Nobody can leak anything about them publicly. I doubt Hurtt will post a tweet saying "I just nailed in the NOA. Anybody Im recruiting can count on me not being at UL next year."

Stoutland is off to the NFL so he could care less...

Honestly, I could care less about either of them. Just care about what happens to Miami..

I want Hurtt to get nailed. I suspect his actions largely contributed to the LOIC ruling.

Whis is the bish still opening her mouth?

Exactly. Court of Public Opinion does us no good, unfortunately.

The NOA is like the defense in a prosecution situation getting the evidence that the prosecution has, it was not unexpected and their will be a lot of public posturing but still expect a good outcome. This is not your usual situation with the NCAA and still feel a positive ending for the U. LOIC is not as bad as it sounds, much of this will be rebutted successfully before the COI, the NCAA saying that if mini-me said it twice it was confirmed as truthful and as good evidence, please!!!! LOL

A first year law student could have that shizzz thrown out! The NCAA is the one in the crosshairs and they know it! There will be a lot of public posturing and if you think any deals are off the table in this mess you are sadly mistaken! This will end in the most positive way for the U that it could. With Emmert gone, the NCAA on life support and the U moving forward!
We would have little to worry about if we were being tried in the actual court system. Unfortunately we are dealing with the NCAA where logic and reason clearly does not apply.

How can you charge LOIC and not include Shannon, Haith, and Hocutt?

The Florida Bar Association still needs to strip her of her license to practice law.

Yep, ncaa is the judge, jury, and executioner. We need this to be like the NFL though when Tagliabue overturned Goodall's suspensions of the saints players
