Fair and generally agree. 145 carries this year from Martinez is actually the most that any RB has gotten under Mario here at Miami. If his goal is to get over 200 carries, then Miami would not be for him even if he was RB1.

However, being in an RB rotation where he’s getting 100 carries behind a great OL would give him a good opportunity to get film for the league. Creme rises to the top. You don’t need 200+ carries to get to the league. Only thing that will do will increase the wear and tear on his body.

Best of luck to the kid wherever he lands. He’s talented.
Nobody on here can dispute his talent. He's a good player. However, he was going to be splitting carries with Fletcher and Lyle. Dude wants to be an RB1, and he definitely has the talent to do that at another program

Returning punts in college and knowing what it takes. And watching with my own two eyes. RBs rarely return punts, especially because of how difficult it is to field and catch. He’s a great player, but he does not have the skill set to return punts
Excuse me but I think you are either very young, don't watch college football, or have no idea what you're talking about. There are a zillion names to throw out but let's try Johnny Rodgers and Gale Sayers. They were running backs and both were UNBELIEVABLE special teams players. They both changed games for their teams to say the least. That is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Putting dynamic players in situations to help the team. Chris Johnson and Ray Ray were WOEFUL in their roles as a kick and punt returners. Good coaches see that and ours were oblivious to recognize that. AJAY should have been giving a chance. Since they gave him a limited role in the backfield this is a way to utilize his talents. Our coaching failed this young man like many other!

wouldn't Balme Martinez for leaving but we can sell him a more run-heavy offense next year and him and fletcher bridging the no-cam-ward year would be huge

I never said he was but making reference that running backs can run back punts and kick offs. It is allowed and perfectly acceptable. lol Tell that to Mario!

It takes a certain skill set to do that. Ajay does not have that. Your knowledge is showing here.

Allen >>>>> Fletcher as a pure RB. Fletcher probably better at pass protection

Not probably, Fletcher is light years ahead of him and pass protection. Allan‘s inability to pick up the blitz and pass protect is why he didn’t get reps here.

Has Allen been linked/visit anywhere?
He was better than CJ and he landed with SMU with the quickness that he didn’t show here.

What am I missing here in regards to AA and the market?
