From the limited carries he got this year, he looked good. Showed up for us at a critical moment against Louisville.

It's not easy to get 4 RBs carries, but he showed he belonged on the field for more than 24 carries and 2 catches this year. But there's only 1 football. I expect him to do well with more opportunities wherever he lands.

Anybody know whose looking at Ajay Allen? So far I can't find anything. Sleeper pick, honestly think SMU should have went after Ajay

I wish the kid well and he should have been used much more. The kid should have went in the portal last year but he was loyal to UM. Such a exciting dynamic runner who most likely will make a name for himself elsewhere. This coaching staff is mickey mouse and another kid used improperly. Mario is losing his charm to recruits and that should be very obvious too.

The reality really sucks when you don't accept the truth, Merry Christmas! If there's something you disagree with please enlighten me.
You're overreacting to the loss of a guy that is at best, a solid college running back. This is not some generational talent.

And your basis that he was grossly misused would indicate every other RB struggled on a what was a bad offense. But the truth is our RBs were fine and we had the #1 offense in the country.

Giving Ajay Allen 5-7 more carries a game likely has no impact to our actual season or the overall performance of the position group.

The guy was illusive quick n fast. Do you think I might have been wise to use him on kick offs or punt returns? I believe so and in those two areas we failed miserably. Just another way to showcase his talents and give UM an edge. We have ZERO imagination and creativity among our coaches.

I completely disagree with you 100000000000%. He did have a major chance to impact this team but our coaches decided not to use him on kick offs and punt returns. In those two areas we were PATHETIC and impossible for me to believe AJAY couldn't have made a difference. Watch ND play and notice their creativity and their ability to get players involved. Not to have AJAY more involved was a coaching decision that defies logic. The kid has talent and instead we suffered an entire season of disappointments on special teams. OUR COACHES ARE A JOKE!

when they transfer they automatically become a generational talent.

Ajay Allen will never be a punt returner

We had the #1 offensive in the country and our RBs led the ACC in ypc. I agree that he should have been in the mix more (particularly against Syracuse when we decided to move away from the 8.1 ypc we were averaging w the 2 back sets in the first Q, but I’m not sure I would say the offensive coaches are a joke.

How does giving Allen more carries this past season make Guidry a better DC?? How does it make our secondary better? How does it make our pass rush and contain better??
Come on dawg…

It just looks different when he runs it.

I can’t understand how guys like this just stop getting carries.. almost like the coaches want them to transfer.. unless it’s some background stuff we don’t know about..
I like him but he won't/can't block which keeps him off the field.
