Who do you think knew Edwards and Henderson since they were in peewee football? That would be Shannon.

Henderson was all about UF from day one. Shannon, for all his faults, was someone he knew for a long *** time.

Relationships are key in recruting unless you're the "it" team and even then they're still important.

As for the last two elites to get away, it isn't like we lost them to UF or FSU. Had it been an in-state battle, they both would've come. Instead, one went for the champs and the hot runner up. I'm smart enough to realize we lose that battle more often than not no matter who is recruiting the position.

Back on topic. That's some kick *** news on Zip. Guy has a brass set if he wants to jump on board with who we got last year.

No one is discrediting those guys. We brought in a very good '2018 DB class. However, at the same time, we've missed too many talented DBs since Rumph has been here. Including a few that we had serious ins with.

With our recruiting base, it's hard NOT to bring in good DBs.

At the end of the day Rumph is a Cane and I'm sure a good dude, and I would love nothing more for him to silence my caneballz by signing elite kids, but he's missed 3 or 4 cycles in a row now and there have been ZERO changes. At this point it's CMRs fault now.

How about one of those real estate courses, where they tell how to flip properties...they give you all kinds of looseleaf binders full of stuff...you can read it forever. Instead of going out to flip guys at Heritage on Sundays he'll be looking at rundown junk in Opalocka.

All you Rumph and Banda haters need to STFU!!! These two put together a **** of a 2018 class. Let's not forget that Michael Jackson was a 3-star recruit that Rumph has turned into an All-American player. Jaquan will also be an All-American. So the coaches deserve the credit for their part. What teams can say they have 2 All-Americans in the secondary? Recruiting 👍, Coaching 👍.

Y'all just mad cause they didn't get the 2 AH DBs. They didn't come to Miami because they believed they have a better chance of winning a championship at the other schools not because of coaching. Once we make it to the playoffs, top level talent will be recruiting us, not the other way around.

I agree, but you forgot to mention the $. Georgia especially is making Alabama appear miserly.
