The wheels have fallen off. Some stinks and is way off this cycle if he goes to FSU.

Or maybe going 5-7 and firing both of your coordinators after season 1 REALLY is as bad as it appeared to all of us last year. We were an absolute embarrassment on the field. I don’t blame any kid for not wanting to come here until we show something on the field.
FSU is doing some shady as **** **** this cycle. Apparently there is huge chicken farmer up north like in Delaware. He was one of the only farms that missed the avian flu or some **** and he made so much money. Dudes throwing it all kids for interest really hoping it doesn’t get them to stick. The bi weekly pay thing is legit

I am sure it could get worse but it feels like the first year grace period was assumed to be more significant than it is in reality. There’s having a tough first year and then there is the abomination we just witnessed.
I’m with ya. It’s one thing to be bad during year 1 and people have pointed out other teams with crappy records recruiting well

But we weren’t even competitive last year. 5-7 doesn’t tell the story how bad we actually were

First FSU game I’ve ever not watched in my life

Another kid a while back that I said the longer it goes the more we should worry about. Just like Cole. Doing everything they can to not be here. Laughed at for both. Mario is a lame duck here. Hired the wrong HC yet again. If we were gonna be cheap we shoulda hired an X's & O's guy period.
Y’all so unserious. A lame duck coach in year 2 before the season starts

Yea that's really dumb but two straight seasons of dogcrap on the field coupled with the recent misses on the trail and the heat is really going to be on him going into next year

So according to this he's down to Auburn and Michigan...lol. everywhere else you look there's major smoke for FSU...no mentions of Miami anymore but no crystal balls yet or solid predictions I've seen yet... Maybe this will have the opposite effect and miami will actually land him. Lately whenever miami feels confident or the insiders are confident, miami loses out..

We need several Sophs, R-Fr, and trues to be good in order to have a solid season. It's not optional this year.

I think Mauigoa, Samson, Bain, Aguirre, Joseph, and Fletcher will all be good. Brown will, too, but will also take some lumps at CB, as that's the nature of the position.

But it's scary as **** that they have to be good.
Agreed.

I cringe when I read the camp reports sometimes because it always sounds similar for the most part in regards to the top players, the starters usually and or freshmen. I would love to hear that Markeith had a pick 6, Brashard carving out a role on ST or as a gadget WR, Washington is the backup LT, Jaccuri securing the #2 spot because of his progression as a QB and not because of more experience in college, Skinner stepping up while Arroyo and Riley are out, etc.

According to D$, Miamis NIL is right up there with the top group so if that's the case they need to throw it down for Stone and Patterson and get some momentum back. Sounds like they may have attempted to already do that with Stone. If they do it with ZP why would he pick fsu over Miami especially if mom wants him close
Not directing this at you but people think magically throwing more money means commits

Innis was proof last year that’s not always the case. Actually several people last year proved this isn’t the case

Oh I totally agree with you. I just see some in here claiming miami is broke or doesn't have the money to compete. Seems like D$ shot that idea down, but cribby did also say miami isn't very inclined to overpay either...regardless, the more guys that pass miami up this cycle, the more I think it's the fact that miami hasn't produced on the field in forever and these players want to see a change b4 committing to it. Not sure why some of the other bad programs after having much more success but it is what it is.

Kids stay home / close to home , want developed to play on Sundays , play in the best conference and play in huge national games. It’s not all money. As I’ve said to nauseam we’ve won battles while not having the best offer and lost battles where we were the best offer. National recruiting for all the elite guys is hard when you haven't been a national program for fifteen years. While following an epic bad season in your coaches first year. Last year things worked out nicely because we hit on the local guys and the Img recruits. This year isn’t as deep so we went **** near full on national and we’re biting the curb so far.

People are just all in their feels right now and can’t see the forrest for the tress. They want it now and I get it ,especially when people around the program over sold this class and the expectations. I knew focusing so hard on national elite guys would be hard but I had no clue it would be like this. That said I still expect things to not look so dark by NSD.

Not sure if you're specifically talking about Patterson with this post or if this is more of a broad comment but it feels like there's a narrative starting to develop about this kid that isn't backed up by any actual facts. Has he come out and said that one school or another is in the lead? Feels like he's been pretty quiet other than saying that his school is requiring him to commit before the season starts. No way we are really out of it for this kid are we?

Lately? That’s been the case for years!

FSU’s NIL budget this year is actually less than it was last year. But it’s reliable and being wholly subsidized by one guy out of Atlanta.
This is why I don’t like collectives. Too many chefs in the kitchen. Last year dude talks ****, Ruiz responds. This year everyone’s talking **** and the meeting on how to address the matter is set for Wednesday
