Zach Carpenter is not hurt

Lol maybe you should keep your mouth shut if you don’t know who you would put in front of Carpenter in the conference
I love (read: hate) when people make statements on relative things like top 10 teams or all conference performers as if what that looks like is static year to year.

That one sack he let 2 noles go right by him and didn't even touch either of them. But I did see him get a push on one of our big running plays. He aiiiight, I wouldn't say he had his best game as a cane.
It clearly wasn’t his responsibility lol. Maybe you should know ball before you comment lol. You spend more time complaining on the gameday discussion board than actually watching the game

Homie maybe you should go read my comments on the actual game time of the game thread on CSI. I wasn't the one complaining about the performance. I'm good with where were at. Btw I got a clip of Carpenter giving up the sack last night

sad episode 8 GIF

Run blocking vs. pass blocking are 2 different animals. Some lines can only do one well and suck at the other (i.e. Dolphins awesome pass blockers, doo doo as run blockers in the late '80's and early '90's). Usually the Canes OL do both well, last night C grade overall - A for run blocking and F for pass blocking.

I'm sure the Canes will correct it.

That's where I'm at with the line. I'll go with C plus

We’ve hit gold on back to back portal centers. I wonder if they’ll try to portal again next year or go with Rodriguez or maybe Nino.

Getting good OL's in general in the portal is the hardest thing to do. Centers is even harder. From what I remember the top 2 centers in the portal was that Norte Dame center and Carpenter. I would feel better if Rich Rodriquez was healthy. Its either Rich or a portal center or SJ is just ready day 1

What do you think of PFF? I have mixed feelings. I don’t really understand how they pump out grades so quickly but whatever

This isn’t a set up question. You’re making some definitive statements about Carpenter just wondering where it’s coming from. He’s been pretty good to me but I know **** all about playing OL
PFF is humans scoring the film on a play by play basis. Don't recall if theyre paying people or volunteers.

Saw every Olinemen do that on different plays last night. Pass Pro was not very good last night.

Lol alright buddy. You were probably one of those idiots who ripped on Lee and Carpenter before they ever played a snap at Miami.
You truly aren’t too bright. Lee was considered one of the top C in cfb before he came to Miami so no that would be dumb to do. Carpenter just like he was at Indiana is a solid starter. There are literally post on here from me defending carpenter because people was saying the guy was a weak link

Well, we grabbed a top C in portal two years in a row so it's not impossible. And SJ is the caliber of kid who will compete day 1 with Rodriguez & Nino for that spot.

Carpenter has allowed the 29th most quarterback pressures among FBS centers (11), and only 14 FBS starting centers all season have worse run blocking grades
Lurking for a month just waiting for any stat to justify your hate. Weird. I guess Carpenter banging your sister has really gotten into your head.

Playing devils advocate he is the only olinemen that hasn’t been subbed off all season. Playing every snap of trench play is going to give you wear and tear.

I would say most of the pressures are from cam leaving too early from the integrity of the pocket but I’ve seen a handful of plays from carpenter lazy in pass set.

Again I think he’s playing more than fine and honestly doing better than I expected. He’s the least of my concerns of this team, odd thread.
