You're in charge: assemble a realistic coaching staff

HC - Narduzzi

Don't care who he hires

Kirby smart for head coach!!!!

So are people really ok with hiring coordinators with no previous experience head coaching experience? We'd just go through another 4 years of growing pains. We did that already with Coker and Shannon. Can people provide examples of a coach that went to a top program after only being a coordinator and was successful to provide insight.

Off the top of my head I got Jimbo Fisher, Bob Stoops, Mark Richt and Chip Kelly. However, then you have guys like Dana Holgorsen, Will Muschamp, Charlie Weis, Gene Chizik, Ron Zook, Bo Pelini, and Dabo Swinney.

Give me David Shaw, Gary Andersen, Jim McElwain or Dan Mullen.

HC- Mark Stoops

and go from there.

That said, hopefully we kill it this year and this talk is all for nothing.

butch Davis and anyone he wants, or I would def take a look at the D cord for Fsu young energy and seems to understand players down here. Mario is an ******* for what he did but it's a business and he would do well here also. I think these are coaches that are realistic targets.

If we ever do change staffs after next season because it's a high probability with the way I think the season plays out, especially after we see that Cook is the real fkin deal on there way to another title. Whomever takes over needs to keep Coley because if he's gone Bama or Fsu will come calling for that man ASAP, Hurley also should be retained maybe Kehoe. Everyone else IMO is fair game, I do not want to change staffs because that pushes us more down the barrel and also AG leaves with tons of relationships in SFLA and he takes that elsewhere. IMO though those big misses on the closing days will bite him in the ****, I hope I'm wrong and they do well this year on both sides of the ball.

The best possible realistic option who would have absolutely killed it here was available this past summer....you know...while the incompetent Temple guy was flirting with Penn State.

So if we're gonna dream and I get to call the shots my first call goes to Petrino's agent just to gauge how big the buyout clause in his contract is. Sell him on the weather, superior current offensive weapons, and vastly superior inherent recruiting advantage located in his own backyard.

I've always said Petrino would've done wonders here since Larry Coker's exiting but his buyout is $10 million.

Tread title: Realistic coaching staff

First Name on list : Boddy Petrino
Last name on list: Butch Davis

/the end

If the key factor is "realistic"

HC-Schiano
DC-Wannstedt
OC-Dorsey

or

HC-Rodriguez
DC-Leavitt
OC-Coley

Not sure which would be better

SURE either would be better than current staff
