You have to laugh

The shocking part is there is talent in SC. Very surprised they don’t have any instate guys.

Alabama recruits nationally but they always have instate talent commited.

Yeah, I'm wondering if that ends up being Clemson's downfall. As you mentioned, SC has a lot of talented guys in-state. And it seems like Clemson is recruiting just based on star rankings rather than doing deeper evals. Having said that, they've won two titles in the last 4 years and was just in the national title game.....so, their approach is working right now.

So far their 2020 class and 2021 class features no one from the state of SCar. Actually 1: Venables son.

I’ve never seen a team able to recruit nationally like this ever.

Notre Dame was in this class from 1960-1990. Every Saturday in the fall they were the only college team featured on national TV. Today, every school has their game broadcast at least regionally. As a result, the Irish had the pick of the litter nationally. Times have changed for them. Miami had a period (1988-2002) where we were a national recruiting power, but we know what happened there. Times changed for us. It will eventually change for Clemson and Alabama. Miami, if we get relevant again, has another chance to be a national recruiting power because of our national brand and location. Hopefully, our brand won't continue to fade.
