I have my doubts that he will, but ultimately I don't think Golden is stupid. I say yes.

Despite his constant insistence D'onofrio will remain a member of the staff, he will have reached unprecedented levels of stupidity to keep him on board next year. Regardless of the Loserville Bowl Game outcome.

They are setting it up to look like Duh' voluntarily goes to the NFL to be a position corch. Corch Al doesn't want to make it look like he fired his best buddy. Mark that down.

If our D is outrageously defeated by Louisville, then AG might feel enough pressure to let him go afterwards.

No. Difficult not to say no. I always like it when normalcy works in my favor, while others predict to the extreme while somehow not recognizing it that way. I still get a laugh at all the posters on Dolphin message boards who assert that Jonathan Martin will never play again. They want the other 31 teams to all share their animosity and fear.

what would you do if you were in Goldens situation with your best friend being the the D Coordinator? you would give him 1 last chance. and that is what Golden is doing.

Not this year. If our D looks the same next year then I'll change my vote. But for now I think he gets one more year.
