Yearby

I will keep saying this, but we NEED to land Lingard and Cook in 2018

Walton is a good back for Miami but not a game changer, and neither is Yearby and Edwards

There is absolutely no way Edwards is better than Yearby but please stop with the NFL talk. It's idiotic.

I was an advocate for Yearby this year, believing he should've been our main back. He's very talented.

The fumble against Virginia was the knife in the back, i believe.

That's been his Achilles heel since spring ball.

They did the same thing to Homer earlier in the season.

Tried to tell y'all he was leaving over a week ago. Nobody listens. Whether it's a good decision or not idk but he's got 2 kids. He'd probably like to start supporting them financially sooner rather than later

Lingard is way better than Cook imo...

I hope our 2 backs for 2018 are Lingard & Camron Davis

Oh don't sleep on Yearby making the NFL. There were many that said the same things about Mike James and he made it.

NFL Draft: 2013 / Round: 6 / Pick: 189

He sounds like a week person.
You sound like a ****head... & it's *weak

He has two kids to take care of, so whether he's transferring to be a starter elsewhere to raise his draft stock or declaring early to earn some money, it shouldn't matter, Canes fans shouldn't start bashing him if he's leaving.

All he's ever done is play hard & try to do his best for us, he doesn't deserve to have ****heads start turning on him for no apparent reason.

Cut that **** out man, you should know better.

Yearby is not weak has to make a business decision God Bless him and his family. I will be pulling for him!!!

Is he going into the work force? Because even guys who have some success in the NFL end up broke in a decade. I can't imagine that spending two seasons on the Browns' scout team is going to provide a whole lot of financial support.

Lol, love Yearby and wish him the best. But I dont have confidence in any of our runningbacks in the NFL. Yet, I don't think Yearby is our best back. So....

I understand his decision. For better or worse, his draft stock isn't going to get better than it is right now. At best, he's a #2 RB on this team and no matter how he trains next year he's not getting any faster. Long speed is always gonna be his downfall. He's got vision, great feet, and is willing pass protector too. He was never going to be a Day1 or even Day 2 guy. He's one of those FA rookies that's gonna have to catch the eye of a coach and hope to make the team.

This decision reminds me a lot of when roscoe parish entered the draft his junior year and left everyone scratching their heads. Locking back at it now, it wasn't a bad decision as he still got to the league and took advantage of opportunities to prove himself. It wasn't like roscoe was gonna grow 5 inches his senior season. He showed what he could do and hoped for a team to take a chance on him.

Eh. "Made it" is kind of a loose term.

This should tighten the term up for you; Roster status: Active Three years and counting. Those are checks Son!!! In the end that's what all the hard work is about.

Those are checks today. Dude gets two touches a game. What will be his income source in 2020?
