Yearby vs Cook?

I just don't understand people who think their thoughts are absolute in accuracy and wisdom and can't concede a point or idea. Not very good for learning/adapting

Not best to take Duval seriously.

He's the Reggie Evans/Sean Avery of CanesInsight

LULZ gotcha.

Anyways, I love this back and forth about Cook and Yearby because they are both REALLY good and it's interesting to discuss and learn the ways they can impact the game. Throw Sony into the mix of this discussion and some people's heads might explode

yes sirr. especially with the dynamic playmaking ability of Cook

"Most dynamic player always the better player.."

So Desean Jackson > Larry Fitzgerald?

fitzgerald is dynamic in his own right and we're talking about college

Maybe more fair... Ted Ginn jr. or Leonard Hankerson?

oh Ginn no doubt

I tend to disagree here. Ginn jr. was a burner with stone hands who could run one route (straight ahead, fast) and while always a home run threat he was mostly a tease. Hankerson eventually turned into a good route runner with acceptable hands and consistently moved the chains. Just a better overall contributor, by his senior year anyway.

You want a solid 7 that bangs you every day or 9 that gives it up only when you buy her expensive gifts.

It's nuts that there are 3 backs with these skill sets in our own back yard. You got Dalvin who is the blazer and a guy you just put the ball in his hands and let him go. Yearby is a prototypical running back, with great feel, instincts, vision, and moves. Then Sony is probably the best blend of everything and also bigger than the other two.

2/3 no matter how you slice it is a home run.

It looks like duval is obsessed with speed. I have to conclude that he is al Davis coming back to life

bad analogy because all these guys get paid one way or another.

sooooo, i'd rather pay the 9 than pay the 7

They are both very good. My problem is, we have people downplaying Yearby. Almost talking about him like he doesn't deserve the offer. Yearby is a top 5 back and top 50 player by all of sites out there. And he's in our backyard, flipped him from FSU, and will be recruiting for us for the next 11 months.

Here is my near-expert analysis...

Yesterday, first thing in the morning, I watched both their highlights and I was "meh...but still pretty impressed" on Yearby, but pretty high on the Cook bandwagon. Then I re-watched them later that night, more awake and alert than in the morning obviously, and I was "blown away" by Yearby's tape, and pretty impressed with Cook's.

Obviously the 2nd time I watched the tape I was more in-tune if you know what I mean. Just my opinion...so take it for what its worth. Pretty much nothing.

Yearby is the better running back. he has better jukes and instinct and strength run more in the inside, he seem more like a nfl back and that what we need to beat teams with good defense.Cook is great he has crazy speed and more athletic better burst has some jukes, but he deos it when the defense is further away. I see way people love him, he make big plays. yearby seem like a back nfl scout would want more ,he and Sony looks the exact same i see it in the tape. Yearby do look faster but Sony beat him in everything else. just giveing y'all my thoughts years from now there won't be know debate. We got a **** of a back Sony we'll make me happier tape don't lie.

Anyone remember the name of the poster on Grassy, guy would type like 500 word posts, no periods, no indentations, it would make you go cross-eyed tryin to read it. What was ol boys name?

I don't speak Spanish, in English please..

But on a serious note, I agree

I'm happy about the commitment, but question people now claiming Yearby is better than Cook. Doubt that would happen if he were still committed to FSU.
