Yearby or Gray?

I think they both play but not as much as some expect. Gray may play more multi-purpose plays and that might get him more yards but I don't expect huge yards from either.

Look like two different running backs to me but they're both able to do whatever you need. Yearby's got some Duke in him and Choc looks like one of those beast RBs that LSU runs out every year with a bit more wiggle. Either way, the backfield has unreal depth considering who's committed.

I don't expect too many yards out of either if Duke stays healthy. I think a max of 500 yards rushing for Yearby and 200 for Gray. Gray might get another couple hudred on kickoff return, but he's not going to get too many because I expect Duke, Coley to also get a few, but mostly Burns, Corn, Dorsett(though he shouldn't), and Berrios.

Does Gray get the big back carries from Gus?

If we have all four of those running back stick i can see Gus leaving or being moved . Everybody in the 2015 class is better than him. Yearby, Choc are better than him.

Why in the world would any coach have such a runner transfer? No doubt one RB at least for various different games will be injured and be held out, so what coach would want not to have 235lbs runner with speed as a viable safety net? Moreover, even with Duke, after one of his long runs when he gasses up defenders, who wouldn't want to bring in a bruiser to spell Duke and to outrun and power down backers?

Show me a bruiser? You wait and see if he doesnt start playing like he is 235 he will be passed up every year on the depth chart.

Can someone lay out the pronunciation of Gray's first name for an idiot like me please?

Gus will have a 2 year head start on those young RBs,he'll graduate and move on by the time they're ready to take over.

So you saying running backs like scarlett, Williams, Walton want play over him? If this happens that will because the temple staff is still around feeling bad for seniors. Them three will come in better than Gus will be at his junior year of college.

Yearby is a beast near the goal line. As Gus taught you last year, size does not equal goal line success. Yearbys running style is suited to goal line sucess, not to say Chocolates isnt.

Well, he's playing LB now.

So this topic is a little bit premature.

Not sure where you got this info from...
I think Matt porter said they are going to try him at linebacker but I saw a report that said RB fits him and they all agree. Choc says he love playing rb. which he basically was In high school IMO.

I think Porter misunderstood Golden because it sounded like when Gray got here they was trying to think of a position to put him and LB was one of them but as Golden said they put him at RB and it sticked.

i think what golden meant was that they were deciding what position would be best for gray, between rb and wr, never were they thinking about putting that freak at lb guys. porter was mistaken or he was never clear as to the positions he was talking about with gray
