Yearby or Gray?

I hope we don't shirt Gray. We may sign four backs next year. Give Gray a roll and expand it as he develop this year.

This...I think we use Chocolate like FSU used that converted safety Williams did last year. He will come in at the start of the 4th Quarter and have 9 or 10 yards per carry avg.

Joe, but Gray will have most long runs and massive average per carry. Duke and Joe will leave defenses gasping by the time Chocolate blazes by on way to TD.

Does anybody else feel weird about calling this guy chocolate???

Golden has already said Gray isn't going to be redshirted this year. He said he will be used in a variety of ways. At this point Golden can't afford to not play him with the amount of talent this kid has. Golden is also having to show the base that he has made improvements to this team in terms of the talent he's bringing in vs the talent that was here when he started, before the rumblings of being replaced start to float around.

I'm willing to bet that Gray will likely be redshirted.

How much you wanna bet?

He doesn't know the play book at all. Coaches are telling him where to run every play. One more week isn't enough time to soak in the playbook. I we want to get back to winning we need to redshirt kids. 4 years later and we still don't have the correct depth in many positions. Redshirt ing gray will be a very good thing

It's true that Gray is struggling with the plays but I wouldn't redshirt him because it would be another Lamar Miller situation. Based on the potential and measures Gray has shown at practice there's a significant risk he'd leave early if he keeps developing. I'd rather just give Gray a sub-package of plays to master and then eventually give him more plays to learn as the season goes on.

I'm willing to bet that Gray will likely be redshirted.
